    Couldn’t Take Hot Showers

    Pipes burst to the water heater in our building eliminating the hot water for 2 days. No one from the hotel either sent an email or tried contacting me in any way. A real inconvenience considering the price you pay for the rooms

    Hotel roof leaked!

    We had rain coming through the ceiling of our room (3409). During the night a rain storm started and we realised that the dripping sound wasn’t just outside! A panic rearrangement of our things ensued at 2am so that the water wasn’t dripping into our open suitcase. Any positives this hotel may have were washed out by the basic lack of a rainproof roof!

    Good location for port of LA

    We stayed here for a few nights before leaving from LA port for a cruise. The hotel is comfortable, clean and food is excellent. The staff are courteous and the breakfast waiters are friendly and helpful. A 15mins walk gets you across the bridge to Long Beach and the transportation to Downtown LA but this takes about one hour to the underground metro so not really convenient for the city sights. However Long Beach is a lovely area for walking to some excellent restaurants. The food at the hotel is good, breakfasts are fairly priced and there are a variety of evening options.

    Don’t let the pictures fool you!

    This hotel falls very short of the Hilton standards we’ve come to expect and enjoy. Not only is it in need of a remodel, the room and grounds were not cleaned very well. The location is not as convenient as you would think and can be hard to find at night. The property seems to have a party vibe and was pretty noisy most nights. However, on the third night, the noise was unbearable. When I called down to the front desk at almost 10pm to inquire, I was told that there was a private event booked in our wing that would be done by 11:00. This was not a welcome pice of info 3 days into our stay and after a very long day of being tourists who wanted to get some much needed rest. We were supposed to stay 4 nights, but checked out a day early and went to another Hilton property. This property is way overpriced and we were extremely disappointed in our stay here.

    This place is a dump

    This place is a dump. I’m a Hilton Honors member. After a very long flight, I was offered no water, our first room was right in front of the elevator. Next room facing a busy highway with so much noise. The rooms haven’t been renovated since the 80s. Plumbing terrible, Wi-Fi slow, air conditioning noisy and we were only given 1 towel each. Beds feel like they are 20 years old. I never complain but did go to front desk to ask for a room change and a quieter room.Got nothing but a few towels. The outside is beautiful but it doesn’t account for the price and the poor customer service. I also don’t usually write any negative reviews but felt compelled to do so as I typically have wonderful experiences with even the least expensive hotels in their portfolio.BTW add a hefty parking fee to the list.
