Nice hotel, good clean room nice pools.
Ocean front room with nice balcony and view of sunset. Stayed one night at the end of a week at Occidental all inclusive. Nice snorkeling on-site. Food at the restaurant was good but a little pricy considering where you're at. Close to airport on northwest end of the island. There was an incident at the front desk (lobby) with a disgruntled guest who was angry about what he called safety issues for his kids. The girl called for her manager who continued in the lobby as this guy became more and more irate and wanting compensation. It went on for about 15 minutes in front of many other guest wanting to check in or waiting for their room to be ready. The manager should have taken this guy away from the lobby and away from other guests. She didn't budge on his requests but it shouldn't have been allowed to escalate in front of so many others just arriving and hearing it all. David, the bell hop was amazing and deserves 5 stars. Other than the unfortunate incident the hotel and rooms are nice with good air conditioning and rain head walk in shower. Would stay again but not for a week.

Most beautiful hotel
We stayed for 3 nights but wished it could be more. The hotel is just gorgeous in every way. Pictures do not do it justice. I could not find any negatives. It is so beautiful & serene. I can’t wait to come back here. Loved every minute. The staff are wonderful special mention to David.

Decent Hotel and Service
To start, I have stayed at this hotel before and will stay again. It is a decent hotel, overall clean, and the biggest plus is the ocean view. The employees are friendly and overall I would say above average. Hotel B hasn’t cut room cleaning services as others offering daily cleaning. The free Breakfast. On my final morning I was finally told I could have eggs prepared any way I preferred. This is important info. The buffet they pushed the previous days was priced correctly, free. It was a little better than prison food. There was fruit, bread that was identified as toast but appeared to be stale from sitting uncovered in the open air, with a flock of black birds who were very brave, scrambled eggs that one morning were so runny and cold they could have been eaten with a straw, refried beans, potatoes, and some mornings a mystery meat that looked left over from the night before. They should be embarrassed. I did not eat any other meals there, although in the evening the food that came by the bar looked decent. There are far too many excellent restaurants in Cozumel to eat at a hotel. The bar. Great employees who are really trying that need training. Great employee potential but as I watched each evening they seemed sometimes confused and most of the time lacking confidence. The bar service was slow, but in a few days they made the drink I enjoyed correctly. They need more training. Again, the birds on the eating tables and flying around the uncovered food at the buffet were a little gross. The pool and public areas were clean. They apparently offer day passes and I do think that is a big minus. The room. On the B side, not Unique side, the room I stayed was clean. It was a hotel room with a shower. The water was hot and the room had a small balcony. Bring your own soap and shampoo. It was horrible. It appeared the liquid hand soap and the shampoo were the same. Bad. From my perspective the hotel appears to be a little pretentious. Trying to make themselves something more than a nice place in Cozumel. Don’t California my Cozumel! Just be a great hotel that brings in the local and friendly culture of the community we all love to come visit. This personality the hotel is trying to establish is actually kind of comical if you stay and watch closely. Cook your eggs, be nice to the customers, give people a nice and friendly experience in Mexico. Almost there! Quit trying so hard.

Amazing Snorkeling and Excellent Place to Relax
We loved the Hotel B! We were looking for a hotel with terrific snorkeling right our front and that is what we got. There is a cozy, intimate feel, the staff was very friendly, helpful, and we felt valued. The location is really beautiful. The rooms have limited electrical outlets, there is one outlet on the wall where the coffee bar is and one in the bathroom so an extension cord would be helpful. The cab ride to town is only 5 minutes and cost us $5 US so we enjoyed the flexibility to eat at the hotel or run into town. There were only a couple of children at the hotel, it is a great place to stay for adults. I took a yoga class on the last day right in front of the water and it was lovely. The breakfast buffet was included and always fresh, changing, and delicious! I tried a Passion Fruit Mojito and it was so good I had another! We would definitely stay here again.

A Fantastic Experience!!
We took our 12 yr old grandson to Cozumel for spring break. He wanted to stay where he could snorkel right from the hotel. Hotel B was perfect. Tons of fish right off the hotel. They even have a large diving platform so if you have younger kids who are not strong swimmers, they can take a break on the platform while others snorkel. The restaurant was amazing!!! The food was fabulous. We normally don't eat at a hotel because the food isn't always the best. Hotel B's restaurant was outstanding. They even cooked Mahi that we caught when we went deep sea fishing. The views from our room was beautiful. It's about an easy mile walk to town or you can take a taxi for $4-$5. There's a nice sandy beach easy walking distance just past the hotel. Everyone was so friendly and helpful - from the bellman to the wait staff to chef himself. There are 2 sides to the hotel - 1 for adults only and one for family. There are cabanas by the pool on both sides - no extra charge. Don't waste your money at an all-inclusive. We spent less on hotel plus meals and drinks (and we ate and drank a lot!) at Hotel B than it would have cost us at an all inclusive - and got better service and food and wonderful ambience. I just can't say enough wonderful things about the staff and the food. We will stay here again!
