Disaster averted with the Suites Turquesa

We just wanted a quick quiet little getaway for Memorial Day weekend. I booked the Suites Turquesa (a mile south) with Booing.com (DO NOT recommend using them). Got to ST and was told both our credit cards were denied (not the case) they wanted us to pay in cash!!!! After a 45 min fiasco with Chase and Booking.com, we canceled and called Hotel B Unique directly. Thank You, Lord! He definitely worked that out in our favor! All the staff were very friendly, and helpful. We stayed in the jungle room the first night and then moved over to an ocean-view room for the other 2 nights. Worth the upgrade. Stunning view! On the jungle side, you hear all the motorcycles, mopeds, and trucks going by. That is my only complaint with the hotel, but there is nothing that can be done about that. Just something to know before choosing your room. The hotel is very much minimalist modern style; clean and well maintained. All amenities at the pool and restaurant are well-kept. The pool does have limited seating so grab a bed early! I've always been a little leery about laying on one of those beds but I saw them changing the linens each day along with hanging up clean hammocks. Food and drinks were good but the service was a little slow. Don't wait until you are hungry to order your food! We are SCUBA divers but like I said this was a relaxing little weekend. We did snorkel off their little boat dock and saw several cool things: flounder, eels, trumpet fish, porcupine fish, barracuda, parrot fish, queen angels, sargent majors, box fish, and tons of other fish. That was just during the day we did not bring a flashlight for a night snorkel this time, but I'm sure you would find some lobster and crab, maybe if you're lucky, and octopus! FYI Hotel B Unique is all adult and Hotel B Cozumel is kid-friendly (they are connected)

Entire staff is amazing! Thanks Pablo!

Pablo was an exceptional bartender known for his remarkable expertise in agave spirits. His genuine passion for sharing his extensive knowledge made him a favorite among patrons seeking to explore and savor the world of fine spirits. (DJ Benzo from Austin, TX approves!)

    Not worth it

The good: unique location and very good food. The bad: rooms are a joke. We had an ocean front room with a hard bed and 2 chairs. Bathroom only had low pressure rain shower head. Not sustainable for more than a day. Staff and service mediocre at best. Would not stay there again.

    The answer is Yes!!

We’ve traveled the world and this is honestly One of the prettiest locations ever. Marco and David are both amazing. Dissatisfied about the snorkel gear having a charge and closing at 4…. Other than that….. paradise.

    Our stay

The bell hop David was amazing gave great recommendations of where to eat. Was very helpful and always had a smile on his face. The room smelled like a sewer especially the bathroom. The food was gross. The bed was hard . The pools were great especially seeing the ocean from the pools.
