Room had a welcome feel to it. Front desk personnel was extremely nice and was willing to go the extra mile to make sure I had everything I needed. I marked this hotel as a favorite so I make sure I will stay here again.
Great! (except for the pillow issue)
I am allergic to down/feather, so when booking the room I requested regular pillows. This has never been an issue since down is usually an upgrade, not the standard. Checked in and went to my room and they had all feather pillows. Went to the front desk and they said the hotel ONLY has feather pillows. They told us to open up the cases and if the rims had blue on them then they are feather, which I can confirm were, since feathers were poking out of it. The workers were lovely and the bed was cozy but it was really hard sleeping with zero pillows.
I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and neat. Kaitlyn at the desk was extremely helpful. The hotel is easy to get to off of I-95 and has plenty of shopping, restaurants, and gas stations available. I would recommend staying at this hotel.
Old but Clean
First impressions, there was a VERY unpleasant distinct odor when you entered the hotel. The staff at check-in was very pleasant and accommodating. However, we were disappointed to find that the restaurant was still undergoing renovations, and no dinner service available in addition to no breakfast service being provided on Sundays. We chose this hotel specifically because it had an on-site restaurant and we were assured, back in September when we made reservations, that it would be fully operational for our visit in January. Upon entering our room, I was thankful that the unpleasant odor from the lobby did not extend to the room. I was also very pleased, at the cleanliness. The room was very old and outdated, but extremely clean so that was a pleasant surprise. The cleaning staff should be commended. The fitness center was disappointing. Only one of the two treadmills was operational, the water dispenser was broken, and there was no way to sanitize the equipment before or after using it. Our room was noisy and we could hear conversations from the parking lot as well as the room next-door to ours. Upon check out, I was disappointed that there were only two luggage carts for the entire hotel, and none were available for our use. Overall, I would rate this as an adequate hotel, and not one that I would choose to return to.
The hotel and Staff are Amazing!
I have to say if I were to have listened to the review I saw I wouldn’t have stayed here, I am SO happy I didn’t and decided to stay here! The check in was flawless and Staff was amazing! I have a service dog for my health and I had decided to do room service for dinner. Holy Heaven my meal was beyond mouth watering and cooked to perfection! The next morning as I went to check out I was asked if I had a chance to visit the breakfast buffet and I had said unfortunately with my service I can’t go over there. Not only did I have a flawless check out they even called over for the server to help me get whatever was needed for breakfast as they watched my dog for me! I have absolutely no complaints and look forward to when I get to pass through here again!
