great location
This Holiday Inn was great. It was clean comfortable and ideally located to walk most places or at least catch the trolley. We were there 4 days and loved our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. Do be aware you have to pay for parking if you bring your car.

Popular, Great location, Pricey. Worth it.
Location. Location. Location. Two blocks from a cable car line. Three blocks from Fisherman's Wharf. And a great free breakfast. But you pay for it! There's lots of seating for breakfast, but it's a packed house! Popular place! End of story.

Good Value for Expensive San Francisco
My sister and I stayed here four nights in May 2023. The front desk staff was polite and helpful, cleaning staff was friendly and polite, room was clean. I would say it’s a good value if you are looking for a budget stay in the area. It is VERY NOISY, the walls are thin and the hotel is always busy (because it’s a good value) so you do have to be willing to put up with hallway noise. In addition, the free breakfast is fine but again, crowded hotel equals crowds at breakfast and sometimes they run out of seating. Would I stay again? Probably, but not if I was looking for relaxing. Looking for clean, moderately priced within a good walking distance to Fisherman’s Wharf? Check.

Excellent Hotel
Rooms were clean and comfortable. Lots of storage. Mini fridge. Breakfast was busy every morning, especially close to 9:00 AM, but we always managed to find a seat. Front desk was helpful and handled our few requests and questions very well. They brought extra pillows right away and loaned us umbrellas. Location is good for all the tourist stuff in Fishermen’s Wharf, Pier 39, Cable cars, etc. Hotel is secure and you have to use your room key to get in the elevator on the ground floor.

Great location
This was our final leg on a drive from LA to San Francisco. We stayed here two nights and found the location excellent. Staff were helpful and able to give great advice. Breakfast was basic but enjoyable. Room was good, although slightly small. My only complaint was having to use valet parking. I understand parking in cities in limited but at $62 per night is a bit expensive
