    Surprised with hospitality

We booked this room at the last minute for a concert down the road. Very nice front clerk. Cold air conditioner. Breakfast was good. Clean room and clean facilities. Close to the venue. Close to food. Overall pleased. Also got a veteran discount. Thank you. I

    Windy, dry and no service

Good: 1. Room was clean and modern. Poor: 2. Housekeeping and breakfast variety was non-existent. 3. By 3:30PM housekeeping hadn't shown up all three days of our stay. 4. Had to ask twice for housekeeping to make the bed & replace towels. 5. Breakfast was the same all three mornings. Pre-frozen cheese omelet, sausage and dried-up potatoes. Location feels like in the middle of the dry, windy desert. Our car looked like it had driven thru a desert windstorm with dust and gritty sand that even seeped inside the car. Would not stay here again but opt for something closer to town with grass and trees and green landscape, not desert landscape.

One of the newest hotels in the area

I know my way around the many hotel properties situated in the Coachella Valley, and I've had my eye on the Holiday Inn Millennium ever since it opened. During a festival weekend this hotel had the best rate so I booked a room. The Millennium is one of the newest hotels in the area and it feels like it inside. The hotel staff are on their toes (and they greet you coming and going) and the guest rooms don't show any signs of wear and tear. We stayed on the 4th floor (room 409) and I found the room to be very nice. In addition, I didn't hear any exterior noise from other guests, which is a bonus. Overall, the Millennium is a great mid-level hotel to consider. It is freeway close off I-10 and there's a number of places to eat nearby and a Starbucks within walking distance.

Great option for Indian Wells Tennis Tournament (Juniors-Easter Bowl)

I am usually a guest of either Marriott (Bonvoy) or Hilton (Honors), but the options were slightly costly and not worth the price for this specific trip (Easter Bowl). I decided to dust off my IHG membership and stay at one of their locations. I was torn between the Millennium or the Pal Desert one closer to the Indian Wells Tennis Garden. The Millennium option is fantastic! It is newer and has superb staffing. Everyone was such a joy and so attentive. The rooms are spacious and so modern. Glass showers, ample seating, great lighting in bathroom and bedroom areas. Close to everything (food wise- both walking and driving and highway access). I wish I got names so I could point out the excellence more personally but please know I stayed there between 3/23 and 3/27 in room 218. The front desk that checked me in was awesome and the entire staff my whole stay was kind and gracious. I remember a young lady with gorgeous nails (chrome-accented nails complimented her nails, but I should have gotten her name). She was great too! I usually stay across the street at the Fairfield, but this time I stayed there and I guess I will be staying at the Millennium again. Just too good!

Nice new hotel in a good area :)

Nice hotel, still very new. Asked for connecting rooms but they gave us rooms across the hall from each other. It was my daughter and daughter-in-law in a queen and myself in a king room. Only stayed one night but used the washer and dryer. You can get quarters from the person at check in. We ate the buffet breakfast in the morning and it was nice. They didn't have a waffle machine but instead had a pancake machine. Wow, was that interesting. It makes two small pancakes in one minute and you can watch it being made. It was very unique and tasted pretty good too. We would stay there again, we did not hear any noise from anyone. Noticed there was a train out my window during the day but never heard it then or at night.
