Terrible hotel/resort. Overpriced. Terrible Rooms, Terrible Service. Go elsewhere.
Not worth it! Don't stay here - the other hotels/resorts down the road are so much better! Hilton Waikiki had awful service from the beginning. Super busy, totally disorganised hotel/resort. Don't care and don't want to help, yet they want to charge super high prices! The corporate rate was not applied and had to pay a much higher rate - the service does not even come close. The staff were quick to scan your card, but not have a room available even when you have paid the previous night - you still have to wait! During my stay... The elevator broke down, so all hotel guests had to walk the stairs or wait! And a special gift after my stay... I get a charge to my credit card that I cannot reconcile! I now have to chase up to work out what is going on.

Okay but not great
Hotel was nice and close to the beach. Room itself was small but ok. Staff was friendly. There was mould in bathroom, it was super humid; bathing suits never did dry, bed sheets felt wet all week, towels didn’t dry. Cleanish but not the cleanest Hilton I’ve ever seen. Housekeeping only comes once every 4 days. They will allow you to request items (towels etc) in between but kind of a disappointment with cleaning our room once during the stay (housekeeping is a selling feature as compared to renting an Air B & B in my opinion). The ONLY option is to pay for valet parking, and there is absolutely no street parking or anywhere near. Something to keep in mind if you are renting a car. Overall it was ok, but for the amount of money it costs to stay here I would expect a bit more.

Didn't sleep well, but good location
The humidity in our room was miserable and it made it really hard to sleep. My wrung-out swimsuit hung for two full days and never dried out. The monitor showed 99% humidity. They're really hung up on a 3pm check-in time too. We came at 8:30am which of course is too early, but they still couldn't give us a room until 3. Whyyy? For Hilton Diamond, they give you two water bottles and $18/ea per day for the restaurant. Parking is expensive but you can park next to Kapiolani Park (10 minute walk) for free. Another thing that bothered me was that I asked if I could borrow an umbrella and a few basic things since the airline had lost my baggage. The front desk woman was super dismissive and said they didn't have anything I needed. I came back later and asked a different guy, and he grabbed everything I needed (which I returned the next day).

Would go again!
The resort was great. Lots of restaurants, pools, and shops to choose from. The pool staff are attentive and made sure loungers around the pool are not "saved" for longer than an hour so everyone gets a chance at a poolside seat. Overall, I found the service was great and everyone was very helpful. The only reason I did not give it five stars is the lack of all day room service.

Very tired, under staffed and way too expensive for what you get
Let me begin by saying the staff the hotel has are, for the most part, all very good and professional. WTS, this hotel operates on limited hours. There is only one restaurant, a 24/7 diner type facility that is now only open from 6a to 10:30p (very good, albeit expensive food)...that is it! No fine dining anywhere...bars also close early. The hotel and rooms are in desperate need of remodeling, stuck in a time warp not of the current century. Mattresses are broken down for lack of ever being rotated or replaced, and rooms are a rather thread-bare. In fairness, although 2 blocks from the beach, have decent views from the higher floors. Think twice before dropping $2500 for a week at this place... They owe their customers for more for this kind of money!!!
