We love haven riviera Cancun!
My husband and I stayed at haven riviera Cancun for to celebrate our anniversary! Every staff member was wonderful! We especially loved Jorge (concierge), Cesar (waitstaff), Hugo (serenity bar), Jeu, and Carlos (Mexican steak house). The entire crew at Tahani was amazing each morning for breakfast! Everyone was so attentive, friendly and always eager to make our stay perfect! Everything was clean and overall a really great experience!

Not our favorite place
We have stayed at several resorts in Cancun, and Haven Riviera was not our favorite. PROS: Room service was amazing! The best food in the resort, actually. The private jacuzzi tubs on the patio was so nice. CONS: The beach was completely unusable! They made zero effort to remove any of the seaweed, even though other resorts down the beach were cleaning up…it smelled rancid, and you couldn’t even walk along the edge. Horrible dealbreaker for me. The pools were downright hot-not even remotely comfortable. The food wasn’t very good in the restaurants, especially the buffet. The gift shop was a complete ripoff, $30 sunscreen and benedryl? Get real, folks. Bingo night only had about a dozen people, and then turned away everyone else. We had to wait over 4 hours for our room to be ready the first day, so just roamed around in the heat. Not our best vacation, by a long shot!

Great time!
Had a great experience overall! Santos did an excellent job keeping us entertained and attending to our needs daily! Be on the lookout for him if you want great service! Angel also went above and beyond and was a pleasure to deal with during our stay. The only con my entire stay was paying $27 for sunscreen in the gift shop. Make sure to bring plenty.

First time all inclusive guest
The staff is what sets this resort above others. If you want to go on excursions you may have longer travel times. This is a perfect all inclusive with no need to leave the resort. The Amstar pickup was also amazing and easy to schedule

Our Most Perfect Wedding at the Most Perfect Resort
Haven Riviera Resort was the location for our dream wedding! Starting from the initial site tour through our wedding trip departure, Lizandro (our wedding coordinator) was organized, responsive, had incredible input, the best to work with, and made the planning process very easy and stress-free. The wedding packages were not made for such a large wedding as ours, but him and his wedding/events team (Marifer and Miguel) worked with us to customize exactly what we were looking for. Always flexible, always responsive, and truly the best partners! We loved working with Lizandro and highly recommend him. He is wonderful at what he does pre-wedding, but also on the day of the wedding he is graceful and incredibly calm. We appreciated him so much! Our wedding was perfect and was the best day of our lives (so far)! From a wedding guest perspective: 88 of our family and friends flew all the way to Cancun for our wedding and from a wedding guest perspective, we heard only positive comments about the wedding event and the resort. Most all of our guests made it a 3 night to 6 night extra long vacation. The rooms and resort property was beautiful, the pool and swim up bars were perfect, they loved the kayaks and pool volleyball, the live music in the sports bar was a popular after-dinner meet-up, and the ease of getting from the airport to the hotel was also a huge perk. The downsides of the resort was a very slow check-in process for regular guests (waiting in line for 20+ min), slow service at times for dinners, slow service at the long pool swim-up bar during the day, the construction that was happening on the metal walkway (heard banging during spa treatments) and near the new convention center near the Serenity area (the construction noise started at 8am daily).
