NO Room Service; NO DAILY housekeeping! Stay Away
Worst stay at this hotel in my life. Concierge named Tania explained that El Dorado has taken over Caesar's Palace management. They've basically flushed this hotel down the toilet. Understaffed as well. Definitely not worth what they're charging.

Blues night at Harrah's
The blues night on Tuesday is phenomenal! You HAVE to come to backstage bar at Harrah's to experience the Buddy Emmer blues show! Awesome show. You won't regret it. We come every winter during new years week. It's a free show, but the cocktails are not bad.

Travel Problem of SWA and Help from Harrahs
We had 9 rooms reserved at one time but on the final day we only needed 1 room. Even though we were inside the can’t cancel of trip the folks at Harrah’s cancelled the rooms and didn’t charge us for any of the excess rooms!

Completely average and at times below average hotel
We visited in December, first the good: Location is walkable to the gondola and lots of food options. We had two comped rooms. One suite with a platinum member, one two queen room with a gold member. The rooms are spacious but pretty outdated. It's nice to have a mini fridge too. Queen beds were uncomfortable. Whatever, we have slept in worse places. Major annoyance about a few things: We were told there is no maid service, but we would get a daily text from the hotel to see if we need anything. Not one text ever came. We were also told that with the suite, we'd get nightly turn down service and chocolates. Nope - never one time did anyone come into our room for any reason. I called to request towels, They didn't show up. I then went down and asked the front desk to send towels up. She apologized profusely and said that she would send them right up. Never got any towels. Oh let's not forget the hot shower after skiing that suddenly went ice cold after 5 minutes. After a long day of skiing, my family loves to hit up the jacuzzi. Well, it wasn't working. When I asked about it, I was told "it hasn't worked for as long as I can recall" So I ask about the sister property, Harvey's and using theirs. "Oh that one is broken too." Apparently fixing broken amenities is not on Caesar's priority list. What exactly is the so called "resort Fee" for? This is not a resort. With no amenities to use, no housekeeping and no help to even get towels delivered...it's a motel. Charging 28.50 a day to use all the wonderful amenities they have to offer - what a joke. I asked if we could get a pass to use the Hotel Spa's jacuzzi and was told "no they charge their own fees for that, we aren't part of it." Their fees are $50 to use the spa facilities. Another joke. I was told upon check in that I could get my play rated toward the end of our stay, to see if they'd waive the resort fees. So I went to the front desk and asked the day before checkout. The lady was very snarky and told me that a host wouldn't even LOOK at my play until I reached mid tier platinum. So I was stuck with the resort fees. Whatever, it was a free room so what could I do? It's just a junk charge that I hope is outlawed soon. My advise - don't expect much and you won't be disappointed. And the breakfast at the American River cafe is pretty good. The Starbuck employees in the lobby are miserable, maybe they charge them resort fees too.
