A great experience with a minor issue!
Great stay! Was made possible by our Assistants Daniel and Omar. Took excellent care of us during our two week stay. The improvements with the addition of 3 new restaurants and an adults pool. Only downside is the new rules regarding children into the Heavan side of the resort which at one time was restricted to adults. The "family" side is slowly reducing the area in which adults can be void of children. Have nothing against children but they already have the majority of the total resort as it is currently. Unhappy adults!
Have been unable to check on my reservations
Have been unable to check my reservations! Calling and getting hung up on, emailing to never hear back. Terrible service and I haven’t even gotten there! I’m afraid and don’t know how things will workout as I can’t even verify my reservation! Will update after our trip!
It was one of the worst resorts I’ve been to from the friendliness of the staff to the food and them trying to charge me for a tour I didn’t even book or go on . The front desk didn’t want to give you the time of day if you had a problem with your room . They lost power the one day no running water and had room that got flooded and proceeded to blame the person who was staying in the room for the flood . It was just a terrible experience my family and I will not return to this resort and I suggest people to stay away .
Bit of a let down
We stayed here for 8 nights. On arrival we were checked in quickly and taken to our room in a golf buggy. We had a family room which was two rooms connected. The rooms were spacious but the door between the two rooms couldn’t be closed which was annoying. The beds are very comfy but the rooms are very dark and quite dated. The doors are paper thin!! The sounds coming through were horrendous. Not the walls…the doors. Every foot step outside the door, every conversation- not even loud one’s felt like they were in the room with you!! Due to this I wouldn’t visit again. I’m shocked that there aren’t more bad reviews of this on here. We were on the ground floor and it honestly felt like the people were in the room with you talking it was so loud. The food in the buffet was good for our first few nights but after that things weren’t ever ready on time. Waiting 20 minutes to be able to order a pizza and then another 15 waiting for it isn’t really acceptable when the buffet is supposed to open at 5.30. Desserts weren’t that great either and the last two nights they were totally frozen still! More choice for kids would be better too. There was either too many staff or too little to help. I asked three times for someone to help me out Uk the sun parasol and I was told they would send someone but no one came. Eventually the kids club lady came and helped me. Kids club activities were fun and the girls were lovely who ran it. The waterpark is good but it’s quite a walk from the main pool to get there. The good thing is the pool never seemed mega busy and you could always get a sun lounger. My only moan around the pool was how loud the music was. You couldn’t stand in front of the DJ box as it hurt your ears! The paper thin doors ruined the holiday for me as we were woken up every night by people walking or running outside our room. Like I said, it wasn’t shouting, just normal volume but in the room is was so loud.
Worst hotel experience
This resort doesn’t even deserve a star. To say this was the worst hotel stay I have ever had would be an understatement. A large group of us came for a wedding and the trip was a nightmare from start to finish. Upon arrival there was no power or running water in most of the rooms. We were stuck without a room until 830pm when check in time is 3pm. Instead of keeping our luggage at the curb we decided to leave it in a friends room which ended up being flooded soaking all of our belongings. A tropical storm hit out of nowhere on the day of the wedding ruining everything and the staff could not have been less caring. Not once were any of the guests offered anything for their inconvenience of staying at a resort with flooded hallways and ceilings falling apart. I hope anyone considering a stay at this resort reads this review and chooses elsewhere so they don’t experience the heart breaking and terrible time all of us did.
