Epic Family Fun & Flawless Service at Grand Velas Riviera Maya
We just wrapped up our stay at Grand Velas Riviera Maya, our second Grand Velas adventure, and let me tell you - it was everything we hoped for and more! The real stars at Grand Velas are the food and hospitality. We’ve been to a bunch of all-inclusives before, but none of them even come close to the culinary excellence here. Every restaurant at Grand Velas knocks it out of the park, and the 24-hour room service? A total game-changer. Shoutouts to the Staff: A huge thumbs up to Daniel, our ace concierge, and Jose, who made our pool time extra special. It’s people like them who elevate the whole experience - they’re just so helpful and a joy to be around. Daniel was always available to help, and even had a doctor come help my husband who had a severe ear infection. Picture Perfect Memories: For the first time, we decided to go for the picture package, and wow, was it awesome! The photos turned out incredible, capturing our family memories in such a beautiful way. Definitely worth it and something we'd recommend if you want to bring home some professional snaps of your time here. I am sad to admit that I forgot our photographer's name, but I know it starts with an L and she's from Spain. She made the experience so fun and memorable. A Tale of Two Kids Clubs: Let’s talk kids clubs. We’ve seen the one in Grand Velas Puerto Vallarta, which was amazing. The Riviera Maya club is a bit different, split into two: one for the little ones (4-12 years) and another for teens. My boys, 6 and 9, had fun, but the younger kids' section felt a bit small and skewed towards the tots. It felt dated and carried a noticeable scent reminiscent of a nursery, which could perhaps be refreshed to enhance the overall ambiance. The teen club, though? Absolutely fantastic! Can’t wait for my kids to grow into that space. But Don't Sweat It: That being said, don’t let the kids club thing sway you from coming here. It’s just a tiny part of the whole awesome experience. Picking Your Tower: If you’re here for the hustle and bustle, the Ambassador tower is where it’s at. Want something quieter but still close to the action? Grand tower is your go-to. If you’re all about zen vibes and the spa, and don’t mind being a short drive from the beach, then the aptly named Zen tower is perfect. Beach Perfection: Big props for keeping the beach seaweed-free - a real challenge that they’ve aced compared to other spots we’ve visited in Riviera Maya. Overall Impressions: In a nutshell, Grand Velas Riviera Maya is an absolute winner. Whether it’s the fantastic food, stellar service, or just the overall vibe, this place nails it. Highly, highly recommend!.

Another Year, Another Satisfied Family!
After our 4th visit to GV, my family still agrees that this is our favorite hotel! Customer service cannot be compared!!! Our concierge Alexa was outstanding!!! She prepared all of our nightly dinner reservations on the first day and was always responsive with additional requests - from reservation adjustments to daily activity announcements to making sure everything we signed up for was covered. I will definitely request her for future visits! Beach and pool service was amazing! Luis, Jesus, Humberto, Jose, and Michael were so attentive every day. Their morning greetings and fun conversations were appreciated throughout the days! Our family can’t wait to return next year for more spectacular hospitality, amazing food, and fun karaoke!

Best all inclusive. Period!
This is our second time in less than 4 months. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel! Everything was just perfect! Hands down one of the nicest all inclusive hotels worldwide. The best part is the private concierge they assign to each room. We had Alexa the first time and she was so outstanding that we had to request her again. Of course, this time was No different! She delivered upon each of our requests with so much attention and kindness. She provided an absolutely phenomenal service. A true 5 star

Over the Top Luxury
Spent the week of Thanksgiving here with my family, 3 kids ages 9-15. We aren't usually fans of all-inclusive properties, but we needed something that was easy to book and got great reviews. This fit the bill. Grand Velas is truly 5 stars. The property is stunning. The service is exceptional. Our concierge, Annie, went above and beyond to make sure our every need was met. We did 2 fun excursions, which were recommended by the hotel staff. Overall the food was pretty great. Not every restaurant was our cup of tea, but we could find what we wanted with some trial and error. The kids were over the moon with unlimited virgin coladas and chicken fingers by the pool or via room service. The pools are big and beautiful. Poolside service was exceptional. We even had the staff dropping off small surprises like an inflatable alligator or some champagne and cupcakes when our A/C stopped working. And the staff outdid themselves trying to create a traditional Thanksgiving experience on the beach for all guests. It was beautiful. Don't miss the spa--truly an experience. Our only criticisms were: the coffee wasn't great nor were the cocktails (we're craft cocktail snobs). Plus we had a very odd experience at the adult-only restaurant, Autor. Could have skipped that one in lieu of another meal at Frida--our favorite by far! Thanks Grand Velas!
