Best Vacation at Grand Palladium Resort
The lobby's of each resort are gorgeous. The pools are spectacular and the food was amazing. We have stayed at Grand Palladium 3 times and they never disappoint.

Francisco was the best. So much fun!!
We had a great time on Valentine’s Day with Francisco doing mugs and an even better time tequila and mezcal tasting!! He was so much fun and we learned a lot and tasted so many brands. Fun with the group and a great time all around. Lots of laughs.

Meh...It was an ok experience
First off, we did not choose this resort personally as we were here for a wedding. It's way too big for our liking. Pros: Lots of food options (buffets & a la carts) Pools are super big so you don't feel like you're on top of anyone Cons: No entertainment or engagement around pools during the day. Super boring. The Reservation process for restaurant is a complete joke. Many times we went for dinner (the couple of times we did get a place via the app) the restaurants was practically empty which has me question why it always says its fully booked when it really isn't. No beach that is swimmable other than a small patch of water in front of the Kanatah area. I don't think our room was actually (properly) cleaned when we arrived. There was a random shirt still lying on a table and the sink/counter still looked dirty from the people before us. Tips for Resort: Your lunch buffet at WS is better than the breakfast/dinner combined. Whatever menu/chef you have on the lunch, spread some love to the dinner portion. Tips for Travelers: If you don't like walking or have mobility issues, do not book this resort. Period. Would I come here again, absolutely not, but again this isn't our style of resort. We are beach people and prefer smaller resorts.

NOT a 5* Hotel/Resort
Not a 5* Hotel Absolutely NOT a 5* Hotel, and barely a 4*. The lobbies of each individual hotel are amazing, clean, great architecture, well maintained with up to date furniture and deserving of 5* status. Some of the restaurants are also in great condition and deserving of 5* status, however, some are plain cafeteria type 3*. Ninety five percent of the staff, cleaners, waiting staff, bar staff etc. make this hotel what it is, and are the backbone of the resort. Without the hardworking staff this place would not be worthy of a visit. The concierge in White Sands, not fit for purpose. Asked for things to be done and never actioned, just ignored. Took 3 visits to get a light fixed in the bathroom. Booked luggage to be collected, ignored. Fridge in room not restocked daily. Some of the public areas in our ‘Villa’ not cleaned and to be honest filthy. Suites large and spacious but an unbelievable amount of damage, and very dated. Kept clean but in dire need of refurbishment. TRS. Well what can I say, sell, sell, sell. At one breakfast I counted TEN TRS sellers tempting customers to buy in to this. The irony being there was not sufficient food for paying guests. Definitely a case of a need for less selling staff and more serving staff. More often than not breakfast at White Sands was sub-standard. Fruit, juices, cutlery, dishes and glasses were consistently lacking waiting tens of minutes to be restocked. Basically insufficient staff to cope with demand. However, as previously stated the staff were polite, helpful and just plain NICE. At the Bahia y Basa restaurant the food was amazing, as were most of the A la Carte restaurants. However, Lorenzio is one miserable man. If you don’t like your work, then find another job. Totally discourteous and basically down right rude. All inclusive, well yes but no. I fully understand having a Premium Drink List which is payable. But DEMANDING payment for Jack Daniels which is NOT on the Premium Drinks List is again unacceptable, especially when all other Lobbies, Bars and restaurants do not ask for additional payment. Simply ridiculous at the White Sands Lobby. Mentioned this to the Concierge, at White Sands, twice and nothing heard back from then as to why! Disgraceful and discourteous to ignore paying customer’s comments! Overall, yes, great place. Huge resort, plenty to do with fantastic wildlife surrounding you. But again maintenance is an issue. Some of the roads have potholes worse than the UK, which is unbelievable. One person needed first aid from staff due to the terrible state of some of the paths and roads. Five star, NO, NO, NO. Juan and Marcelino at the Secret Pool, Katyr at the Buffet Breakfast at White Sands, and all the staff at the Sports Bar. What can I say? You all deserve a mention, as you are all amazing, kind, polite, funny and just NICE people. Without seeing you all on a daily basis the holiday would have been a disaster and you made our holiday enjoyable. Thank you all very much indeed. And thanks for allowing us to test our poor Spanish speaking skills on you all, and being so accommodating in speaking to us. To the management at White Sands, sort yourselves out, as you are a disgrace to the people who work for you. You are paid to be leaders and managers, so do your job and stop trying to SELL, SELL, SELL and make sure your customers, who by the way are paying for this service, get the service they have paid for and rightly deserve. More fool anyone who reads this review and then holidays at the White Sands. You have been warned!
