The staff make this resort amazing!
The staff is extremely friendly and caters to every need. Erik Rosas went above and beyond to make our trip as enjoyable as possible. Dante and Hector were also very helpful and thoughtful. Excellent!

Wonderful Experience at the Palladium Vallarta
We loved everything about this resort - highlights being the food and the beach. Also , the people there made us feel so welcome and at home. We would definitely come back and have already been recommending the resort to friends and family members.

Wonderful Resort, Amazing Views, Friendly Staff, Loved It!
This resort is a wonderful place to spend a vacation…beautiful location, friendly staff, great food, and fun atmosphere. We booked a private transfer with Amstar and it was definitely worth it. When we left and our flight was delayed, we just texted them and they picked us up 2 hours later so we could spend the delay time at the resort rather than the airport. It was nice that Lupita with Amstar gave us her number and responded quickly when we were rearranging our pickup time. We booked a 6 hour tour through Amstar to go shopping in San Pancho and Sayulita (surfer hippie towns). It was interesting, but a little long. At the resort, check in was easy. Orlando gave us a brief tour on the way to the room and Victor took care of our bags on the last day. We appreciated that they have a room to store your bags on check out day while you wait for pick up later in the day. They had live music and entertaining shows most nights. Armando and Antonio at the adult pool bar were amazing. The family pool that has the swim up bar had too many kids for us, but the adult pool had waiter service even when you’re in the water. From the adult pool you look out over the beach to the ocean and mountains on the other side. All day long we saw whales surfacing and spraying, and occasionally jumping, as we lounged in the pool with drinks. The adult pool bar is open till midnight and the adult pool is open for swimming even later. Kind of neat. Bernardo was our entertaining bartender. There were no lineups at the bars and there were many waitresses / waiters who were incredibly attentive and friendly. We booked the resort’s free 5 person catamaran and got up close (30 meters) with a mother humpback whale and her baby. Get to beach early to book. They only have 12 spots a day (4 people each booking) so be there at 8:30. They open at 9 and only book for that day. The kayaks were a lot of fun. They have free boogie boards and surfboard rentals too. It was calm for our first 4 days, but the last three days were great for the surfers. It was fun to watch them. We talked to snorkellers who saw rays and fish right out front. The Bamboo (Asian) Restaurant was our favourite (great Steak made with Saki), but the Mexican restaurant view is awesome! (The guacamole made at your table by Monica was crazy good too.) The Italian restaurant also had delicious options and Orlando and Marcia were amazing. The a la carte booking app was down our first two days, a bit of a pain to line up to book, but it was working by day 3 and was easy to use. The rooms were very nice, and very clean. We got the panoramic view room which was well worth the extra. We looked out over the infinity adult pool and the beach/ocean. They do push the Palladium Travel club pretty hard, but they are very friendly about it. Leonardo is a heck of a salesman and he was a lot of fun to visit with every day. He didn’t talk us into going to the 1 hour Travel Club meeting, but we did enjoy his witty and charming personality. A couple we met did go and actually joined up. It sounds like it’s a good deal if you travel a lot and have access to a major airport and reasonable air travel rates. That’s not us in small town Saskatchewan. Overall, we like to try different resorts to have different experiences. We’ve actually never gone back to the same resort twice. However, I think that this Palladium might become the exception. We will definitely go back someday! Thanks for a great holiday, Palladium! Dean and Sherry from Saskatchewan

2nd Time Just As Good.
We travelled to the Grand Palladium March 13/23-March 22/23 with Westjet Vacations. Airport was very busy getting through immigration, and pressed the red light again. They scanned our luggage, but did not check any of our bags. Thank goodness for that. Arrived at the resort about an hour later. This was our 2nd time there as we where there a few months earlier beginning of Dec/22 for 10 days. We got our wrist bands and were off to room 1017, building one garden view. No problems with the time share membership people at that time, but one gentlemen in the "Blue Shirts" did approach us while we where at the adult pool one day. We told him we weren`t interested and the conversation ended. Last Dec we where in room 1217 garden view building one with a king bed, and a balcony which is useless, as its to small for two people to sit down and you can`t see anything. Room 1017 is ground floor with patio garden view. Preferred the king bed, a little more comfy, not as firm as the double, but still slept good. Room was clean, A/C a little noisy, but no big deal for us. I take ear plugs along when I go on Vacation. Can`t complain about the room, yes they could use an update, but only use the room for sleeping anyways. Did not find any black mold in the bathroom nor did it smell moldy. Spent all our time at the Adult only pool. Like that the pool is heated, but maybe a little to warm. Great views of the bay, and for watching whales which we seen. The "A" team as I like to call them are the three bartenders who work very hard serving drinks and enjoy talking to during the day. Armondo (wears the cool corona sunglasses), Antonio (thinner gentlemen, always chatty and likes to whistle when he is setting up in the morning), and Antonio ( shorter and brother to Bernardo who works the evening shift at the adult pool). He is the new guy in the trio. They all work hard and will make whatever drink you ask for. Try the Dirty Monkey, but ask for real Banana, not the Banana flavored syrup and don`t forget the chocolate syrup. The food at the Buffet for breakfast was good. Lots of choice. I did not like the pancakes and waffles. They are to dry and not the same fluffy consistency that I get at home. Great tasty donuts. Buffet supper had plenty to choose from. No complaints there. We ate at all the Al- a- carts with the Mexican just being ok. The guacamole was the best we have ever tasted. They make it right in front of you. We got to try the rib steak at the Nest, but the steak was a bit on the salty side. Could of been the gravy they put on. Even though we were not in the family section, we still got an al-a-cart at the nest restaurant. International and the Italian where very good. There app to book the al-a-carts was not working the last two or three days and you had to stand in line by 9am to make reservations. My wife was not very happy with standing in line for a hour. Hopefully they get the app working again. We ate at the Sports bar the first day when we arrived in the afternoon. Good onion rings, fish tacos, fries, and wings. Did not care for the Philly Cheese Steak sandwich. Looked like ground beef with cheese instead of slices of roast beef and was too salty for my liking. Wish they would serve popcorn each day at the Sports Bar. Nice to have a light snack while sitting in the lobby enjoying a drink before venturing out for supper. Popcorn doesn`t cost that much, does it! Everyday when the Hemmingway bar opened up we would go for a couple of drinks before supper. This bar is a adult only bar and is a quiet place to enjoy an upscale cocktail. This bar is open after 6pm and Victor the bartender who makes "the best drinks". He made my wife drinks she never tasted before and she enjoyed them all. Victor is a joy to talk to and we got to know him quite well in the time we where there. We also met Melissa, who filled in for Victor on his day off. Nice lady always had a smile on her face. Not up to Victor`s standard as far as bartending is concerned, but a pleasure to spend time with. One other issue we had was our fridge was not stocked regularly. They missed one day, and I must say that the person who stocks the fridge also supplies the packs of coffee and the nuts, mini chocolate bars. The cleaning maids do not do this as someone said in another review from the past. Did not get diet Coke for the last couple of days. Not sure if they forgot or did not have any. If you want something other or more of in your fridge, leave a note in Spanish and some extra pesos. Please tip generously for good service if you are able to. The good far out weighs the bad in our view if staying at the Grand Palladium. It was for us and we will be returning at the end of November for another 10 days. I only hope the price doesn`t continue to go up as we are noticing on Westjet Vacations. That also includes other resorts in the PV area which are getting more expensive. See you again Amigos!
