Mexico 2023
Stayed at the Grand Oasis Cancun. It has been amazing. So many different options for food and drinks. Our favourite bar is ocean view at the mirador with our awesome bar men Pedro Can and Gael Chel, there was no shortage of drinks flowing and the tequila shots coming. We were not disappointed. The ocean was beyond beautiful. We would grab chairs early morning and spend the whole day at the beach. We also had incredible weather everyday. This vacation was one for the books!! I would definitely recommend this resort.

Awesome vacation
I had an amazing experience at the resort with my friend, the food, the beach, the activities, everything!! We want to mention the great service from the entertainment team: Alondra and Jocelyn, so kind and happy joyful girls and the barman Jonathan.

Do not stay here if you’re a foodie!!
I am one to NEVER write reviews but I feel this one is necessary. First, checking into the hotel is a process. Staff will take you into “private” areas based on your reservation and check you in. Do NOT upgrade to the pyramid package. Not worth it at all and there is no difference. Second, the couples I traveled with are pretty big foodies, meaning we love to eat good food at whatever cost. The food at this resort was AWFUL. And I mean really just terrible. Even the restaurants you have to make a reservation for were some of the worst places I’ve ever eaten. The juice and milk at the buffets for breakfast have the weirdest flavor, the deli meats at the salad bars is very similar to spam, we ordered a pizza from Dos Lunas and it literally came with pieces of hot dog on it…just to name a few things. The only few items we had that were OK were from the Coco restaurant by the pool, the chicken fingers from the Miramar, and some items from Maki Taco. The other thing that is horrible is the alcohol. Every single drink that we had tasted like water. No top shelf liquor at all at any of the bars and there is only ONE beer to choose from in the whole resort!!!! I have been to multiple other all inclusives where the food was great, and you could at least get a good mixed drink with top shelf liquor but not here!!! I would not recommend this resort and will not be back.

Maki Taco at Grand Oasis Cancun
The food in this restaurant is beautiful every single time. We had to make it our final meal. The atmosphere is lovely and the staff are very friendly. Most of all Jairo made us feel so welcome and comfortable and helped us to understand the menu. He was extremely attentive and couldn’t do enough for us! Thank you Jairo. Lots of love!

Great week!
I travelled here last week for a week with friends. Was a great week! Wont lie was a but concerned having read the reviews before hand, however check in was seamless, we stayed in a regular room and it was your average resort room- no major complaints, clean, well stocked fridge all week! Ac worked well. Food- the buffet was average resort food, we really enjoyed the al la cartes, lots of options and nice being able to walk in without a reservation to most of them. Would def recommend the Italian by the pool- alberto our waiter was great!! Our waiter russel at the other italian place was also awesome! Staff- staff were all polite and helpful! Pool and grounds- overall well kept! Nice big pool, never a issue getting chairs, lots of choice. Entertainment- lots of daily activities, beach club, bars, and the kareoke was great! Helpful things to know Safes are extra. We paid 58 usd for a week. Also can take the bus into the hotel zone for 1 usd, take R-2 or R-1. Can take this to coco bongo and sr. Frogs area. We flew Sunwing- no issues or complaints.
