One man saved me from giving up on this place
This review is for the grand oasis sens resort which is the same resort but I guess the name change hasn’t been made official to the rest of the world. I should give this resort a lower rating because a majority of the bartenders can’t make a cocktail to save their lives! Also this hotel is supposed to be kid friendly but has no activities for the kids. All the good stuff happens at 10pm and that’s when most kids fall asleep. But I will say this, there is a restaurant on the resort called Maki Taco and it is AMAZING! This one spot and the waiter there really heightened our experience. The waiter’s name is Antonio and he took his time to explain to us the menu and made great recommendations. He made sure we always had a drink in our hands, plates of Japanese-Mexican inspired dishes on our tables and a smile on his face. This man made a Paloma that no one else on the resort can make and it was beyond amazing. Service like that is what made me enjoy my vacation with my family. They Should make Antonio the Manager because that man sets the bar!

An amazing experience
Once you get in the premesis their staff will help you thru all the Cheking-in process. Carlos Cepeda, took time to help us in our process. Being attentive and courteous, once we got in the to rooms we rented the places were clean and neat. Their food restaurants were pretty good as well as very friendly staff. If you have a chance go to their bar at the pyramid which has one of the best Mojitos Fontainebleau mixed by Carlos. Due to how happy I was with my staying I ended up prolonging my staying and even that process was really smooth which makes me just to come back soon. Thanks Carlos Cepeda and staff I'll see you guys again.

DOG FOOD- STAFF NOT FRIENDLY OR HELPFUL
****READ this before you book this hotel**** If you are just looking to get drunk and enjoy the 🌞, it's a good hotel. Cheap alcohol, nice pool; other than that- horrible!!!!! The staff is rude rude rude... people are always hustling you to sell you something. The food is bad bad bad bas- like dog food. I will show you plenty of pictures. If you are looking to eat protein- go some where else. I had to eat pure French fries and bread. The quality of the office is horrible and not much variety. Every buffet and inclusive restaurant serves the same food. The food is dried and old. Super bad; no joke.

Cocoa Restaurant and Staff saved our vacation
We went to Oasis Cancun for my boyfriends 54th birthday. The best place to eat was at Cocoa. There we met Yudith, Doris, Ana, Karen, Luis Carillo, and Luis Guzman! The service was impeccable and the food was amazing! For the entire six days, we didn’t eat anywhere else! Each one of them was pleasant, professional and very friendly! That’s what kept us coming back each day for breakfast and lunch! We also found Marimar and I rented a bed for the day. Had I known about that area, I would have rented the bed for the entire six days for my boyfriends birthday. At the Marimar, Eddy, Edgar, Jose, Josue, and the rest of the team were amazing! I gave an excellent rating because of them (the staff at cocoa). If it were for the rooms, I would have given a one rating. I upgraded to Pyramid to get the amenities and view of the ocean for his birthday. The room, bathroom and balcony was disappointing. It needed to be fixed. Plaster was falling, we had a hole next to my faucet, and the bathroom needed to be renovated. After upgrading, no one came over to us to tell us about becoming members. No one paid us any attention to give us a tour. It wasn’t until two days before leaving that we were approached by Mike about becoming members. We weren’t interested by that point. The upgrade was worth it ONLY because of Cocoa and the staff!!

DO NOT STAY HERE! DIRTY, UNFRIENDLY, NOT EVEN 1 STAR
On May 14, 2023 Our flight on United Airlines was canceled and we were forced to spend the night in Cancun until we could get out on another flight the next day. United bussed us to this hotel where they pay for accommodations. Upon arrival we were all assigned rooms. I was part of a party of 3 couples. In trying to find our room, my husband and I had to try to ask 3 different employees of the resort (security) who all of them said no English. After wandering around trying to understand the signs since no one could help us, we finally after about an hour located our room. Each of our rooms were located at the very farthest portion of the resort and at the very end room of each floor level hall. Once my husband and I got to our room, the door was wide open. We walked in a little worried already, the room itself was so small and absolutely the most outdated dingy room I have ever seen. The door itself was a beat up white door which didn't even match all the other doors down the hall. Once we entered the room, the lighting was awful, the Safe was broken, there was Hair on the floor in the bedroom and bathroom. the hand towel hanging in the bathroom had gross stuff on it, definitely appeared dirty and hung up. The soap in the bathroom sink was used. This room was disgusting. It wreaked of cigarette smoke. We were however stuck, so we decided to try to find somewhere to eat. We located the Buffet, the food was all pretty awful. Everything appeared it had been out for a very long time. We chose to go to bed since we had to be back at the United transportation bus at 6am. Too afraid to even sleep in the bed, we used towels to lay on top. The next morning, one of the couples in our party who had a similar room at the other end of the resort woke up with Bed Bug Bites all over her legs. This hotel was DISGUSTING, I am ashamed of United Airlines for putting us up in this hotel.
