Second Family Trip to this resort. Celebrating birthdays and anniversary here. Adults and children alike we love it here. I cannot say enough about how sweet and hospitable the staff is and how great the service is overall. I do not remember all the names although I wish I could to give a shout out to you all, but almost everyone we interacted with was wonderful to our family and remembered us from our last trip. To name a few Ivan, Juan, Alex, Carlos, Esperenza ( who was so sweet to my daughter <3 ) all amazing people who work so hard. Fernando from Lajoya did an amazing job. They also don't expect tips but are so grateful if you do. Lajoya, Tuscany, and Isla Contoy are all great restaurants and they took such great care of us! Patrick from Infinite Club is also so very kind. He makes our family feel so special and always looks out for us. This place has become like a home away from home for us so quickly. We feel so safe, and its so clean!!!! The food is a great value for the family something for everyone! Room service is so awesome and everyone who came to our room to deliver was so pleasant! Thank you Patrick and all the staff, looking forward to seeing you again next year! I cannot stop raving about our trip! Gorgeous clean beach and pools, they do such a good job keeping the entire property clean!! Which is soooo important! They have someone waiting at the main lobby to give slippers and fresh towels its wonderful. Great Amenities. Only Con: I am looking forward to seeing the new restaurants that open up because the only thing they are missing are more restaurants to accommodate everyone since it is such a popular resort. It sometimes took a while to get food at the pool because it was so busy. It was difficult to get reservations every night because it was so busy and also more seafood options and variety would be great. The restaurant on the beach is so beautiful they just need to improve the menu. They also could use more options and variety for dessert throughout the day! All easy fixes to make it perfect! This resort is very good. Sorry for the 3 * review but if I could give a 3.5 I would. The resort is very nice and super clean! If I could give a 12 out of 10 for cleanliness, I would! Our room was cleaned spectacularly 2xs a day!! AAAA+. The lobby always smelled like your favorite spa nd the live floral arrangements were impeccable. The only other resort I have seen them even close is the Four Seasons. Perfection. ~The staff is 50?50, a lot are good, some are miserable, and some are exceptional. There were a few exemplary servers, there was not enough. Certain areas/persons got very little if any service. Kid's club was weird. My (7 yro) didn't even want to check out bc it as in a weird underground tunnel. Restaurants - This is my biggest grip. 9:30 dinner reservations. WTH?? I have a child? Sorry, Mrs.XYZ. That's all we have available, They need more restaurants, there is way too many slim pickings for the 1,000 + people they host a night. Long story short....I would not return,. There are several other amazing service 5-10 star resorts . Nowhere is perfect but I'd rather pay prices at Hyatt Ziva or Finest bc its just a worlds difference.

Loved it
We truly enjoyed our stay. After arriving we had a warm welcome with wine and juice. The check in process was very smooth. Out of curiosity I asked for a upgrade and it was accepted. We were very delighted at that moment. The information is scattered in different leaflets, pamphlets so it takes time to understand what are all amenities this resort offers. During checkout I requested for additional time for a charge and we were given additional 1.5 hours free. This place is very nice. All staff are very warm and welcoming. I look forward to stay here again.

Mar 29, 2023Clean resort, bad food and service.
I would like to start out by saying the resort grounds are immaculate. The resort itself, and the rooms are very clean, with amazing views. Unfortunately, this is really where the good stops. The food: Breakfast: was okay, you could manage to get the food down. There was a good variety of food available but the temperature and taste were lacking. Lunch: The poolside grill where the food was fresh was the only place on the entire resort where I’d classify the food as “somewhat edible”. Dinner: Every dinner we ate at the resort was an extreme disappoint. The food was not edible no matter where we ate. We ended up eating off the resort in order to get full. The menu options were very strange, and the food itself had no taste, or very strange tastes. We ate at the Mexican restaurant one of the nights and we’re seated next to a family that broke not one but two different plates throughout the dinner. The staff never came and cleaned it up, and I ended up cutting myself on the glass. Extremely unacceptable. The drinks: We’re extremely watered down. When I tried to ask for Tito’s, the bartender informed me that I wasn’t allowed to order that brand. I’ve never been told at a “luxury all inclusive” resort that I couldn’t order a certain type of alcohol. They said this was reserved for “black wristbands.” When we are paying $750/night, I expect to get whatever alcohol I want. What’s the point of “all inclusive” then? The Service: Staff at check in was very friendly and the check in process was smooth. Again, this is where that stopped. I always got the feeling that the bartenders were trying to ignore us wherever we were. We waited 10-15 minutes on some occasions just to get the attention of a bartender at the swim up bars. This is the same way it was when you were trying to get the attention of chef at the omelette stations at breakfast. Some people around just “gave up” eventually. Kids: There were kids (3-5 year olds) everywhere. So if you’re a family, this could be great, however there isn’t any area on the resort (except for the “additional charge” Restaurant where kids aren’t allowed). So expect to have kids splashing you at the swim up bars, and running around everywhere. All in all, this was an extremely disappointing stay. We both left feeling like we wanted our money and time back. When it’s an all inclusive resort be all inclusive, and make sure the food can be ate. That’s what we paid for, and that’s not what we received. If you’re looking for a place that’s all inclusive, and don’t care about the food or waiting 15 minutes for drinks, this is the place for you, as the grounds are very nice and clean. That’s the only positive that I can find.

Amazing staff
Absolutely adored this luxurious all inclusive resort. Very accommodating and amazing staff. I would highly recommend making reservations at the Tuscany Terrace restaurant! We had the pleasure of having Elias serve us who was outstanding & so generous. He made our night so wonderful.
