Animation
The animation crew was very energetic and happy to serve. I want to congrats Dalvin from animation, he was very nice. He gave an excellent service with his energy, creativity and professionalism. Thank you! From PR We were a group of 20. We had a good time. Hotel could have been better. The AC was not working as you expected to.

Outstanding resort
We are on our last day of our week holiday here, and the place is immaculately clean and the grounds well kept. The beach is cleaned daily. I believe twice because it is clean the first thing in the morning, and we saw it being cleaned this afternoon just before dinner. We flew in from Toronto on Wednesday, and our first dinner was the surf and turf on the beach, which was a nice way to start our holiday. Thanks to Manuel for letting us know about that event. Our second dinner was the honeymoon dinner at Samsara , though it wasn't our honeymoon it did fall on our anniversary. The dinner was excellent ,placed in the middle of a pond with lights and a piano player. Shout out to Enrique, who sure added to the fun night. The third dinner was at El Gaucho, which was incredible. My wife had the filet mignon, which was the best steak she said she had ever had, I had the ribs, which were awesome also. Most breakfast and lunch were at the beach buffet, which was handy to our room, and this place had a beautiful view with a nice breeze going through it. The food was good and the staff was very friendly. Shout out to Darwin, who always greeted us both with a hug and a smile. He also had a table saved for us every morning in his serving area. The fourth dinner was at il Tartufo, which is the Italian restaurant. Food was great. There was a mix-up with a cake for my birthday that didn't show up, which irrated my wife as she was trying to surprise me, but it was remedied later at the reception and showed up to our room later that evening. We spent all our time at the beach myself in the shade, my wife basking in the sun ,lots of beach loungers, and shaded spots as needed. Bar tenders at the beach in the platinum were awesome and knew our drinks by the second day. The fifth dinner was at the main buffet with lots of selection and great service. We just finished our sixth dinner at Soho, which had an outstanding atmosphere and delicious food. Short ribs were awesome. One day left tomorrow, but I would highly recommend this place and would return again. Thanks to all.

Amazing service !!! Love the staff: Adalgisa, Willy, Chef Marcelo, Misael, Joseph, Juan R were the best ! I would definitely recommend this place to everyone and will be coming back in the near future. The bartenders were amazing as well. Amazing energy.

Dana!! We miss you!
Dana in the kids club was AMAZING! My kids had these best time, the team was friendly, attentive, involved, and I felt safe and comfortable leaving my kids checked in at the club. Dana and her team that was there during our stay made our vacation one to remember. My daughter won’t stop talking about the face painting, games, mini boss play, movies, Lion King and how special she the team made her feel!

Absolutely Disgusting Experience – Stay Away from Grand Bávaro Princess in Punta Cana We checked into Grand Bávaro Princess on May 25th, 2025, and I can honestly say it was one of the worst decisions we’ve ever made. Our experience was beyond miserable—this resort should be rated in the negatives. It was a complete disaster from start to finish. Let’s start with the beach: it was covered in seaweed and filth, and no one bothered to clean it. It looked completely neglected. The pools? Filthy and unsanitary. There was visible algae around the edges, and to make it even more disgusting, people were swimming in regular clothes, socks, and even underwear! No lifeguards or staff enforced any hygiene rules. It was absolutely revolting. My kids ended up with itchy rashes after just a short time in the pool—that should tell you everything you need to know. The food? Beyond horrible. The buffet was infested with flies and mosquitoes, with no covers on the food. Flies were literally sitting on the food we were expected to eat. The quality was abysmal. That same night, both my kids and I ended up vomiting and sick all night long. It was a nightmare. We couldn’t take it anymore. We went to the customer service desk that night and spoke to the so-called “manager” Daniel. We showed him everything—pictures, proof, and our physical condition. All we asked was for a refund for the remaining nights after the nightmare of a first day. His response? Dismissive, rude, and completely unprofessional. He didn’t care. He just said he’d “report it to management” and offered zero help or resolution. It was clear they don’t care at all about their guests. We left that disgusting resort first thing in the morning because if we had stayed any longer, we probably would’ve ended up in the hospital. Thankfully, we found a clean, beautiful, and professional resort in La Romana called Dreams, and the difference was like night and day. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Do not waste your time, money, or health by staying at Grand Bávaro Princess. It’s a disgrace of a resort, and it completely ruined the start of our vacation. Avoid it at all costs.
