    Disruptive Guest

Good place to stay. Family had a wonderful time. Did run into a drunk in the elevator who hit me and made threats to my safety. But besides that it was a very great experience.

    Freemont Street Experience.

Stay on freemont street and forget the strip. A lot more going on in a compact space. The circa and golden nugget are fine hotels. A number good restaurants in the area. The chart house in the golden nugget, eureka craft beer bar, evil pie for pizza and thai restaurants. The music shows are best Thursday through saturday. Rent a car at circa from hertz and go see boulder dam. Best to arrive early in the morning .. before 10 am and pay for the full tour.

Very good hotel in excellent location

We stayed at the Golden Nugget for 3 nights in a Rush Tower East End Suite. The suite is clean, very large and the bathroom was fantastic !, loved the bath tub. The bed was very comfortable. There are 4 free water bottles a day, as well as 4 Keurig coffee and a nice size fridge (empty so you can put your own things in it). Earplugs are provided (yes there is some noise, even though we were on a high floor, but we also have a white noise machine so we did not hear the music from Fremont Experience when going to bed). The hotel is very centrally located, lots of dining options in hotel and around. Later in our trip we stayed in Ceasars Palace and the LinQ and have to see we preferred Fremont street. You can take an Uber in the Self Parking garage on the 2nd floor. Very easy to find and book (and very close to the Rush Tower Entrance). Note though that when checking in we had to go to the Gold Tower, as the check-in at the Rush Tower was closed (our entire stay) and you need to cross the casino to get to the Rush Tower with your luggage, however on exit, you can self check out (there is a drop box for keys at the Rush Tower) and just walk straight out across the (not busy) street into parking garage and take an Uber. Very convenient. There is also the Deuce bus (need to pay) to go to the strip (we did not take this bus, however we did take the free Fremont Loop bus which takes you down the Strip to Pawn Stars and the Stratosphere hotel and then turns back and goes to the Fashion Mall Outlet near Fremont street. The bus goes around every 20 min, but be aware there is limited seating.

    Do not stay here

Nasty - no body wash in the shower. Zero. Which mean the staff doesn't ever check the pumps at all. Still waiting for someone to bother to come up and give us some shower gel, there's no bars of soap so we have nothing to wash with. And of course no apology when i called. Because clearly this place doesn't care and has no managers monitoring their cleaning staff. Go elsewhere

    Never again.

Safety. Golden Nugget, the D and Circa all have entrances to their casinos from the infamous Fremont Street. Yet only the Golden Nugget neglects to have security check ID's at the door facing Fremont. We experienced harassment from undesireables asking for money while we were using slots. My partner asked the security guard about this and his response was "there's nothing we can do about it" ... Really? Our room was reasonable for the price but no refrigerator. Floor lamp broken had to call housekeeping for another, which was provided promptly. Rooms need major upgrades. Prices at in-house restaurants are outrageous. Staying guests should get discount on those restaurants. We will not stay there again and will advise our friends & Families about these issues.
