The worst experience you can get from a Michelin Key hotel
Me and my girls were celebrating for a bachelorette party. When researching for package we chose Fontainebleau with West Jet Vacations as it was the newest 5 stars property along the strip and it also provides a $150 dining credit when you stay for 3 nights. We were excited as we wanted to use the credit for the dinner at mother wolf (it was amazing by the way) and treat the bride. We arrived late on April 9 and checked in around 1130pm. Jason at the front was nice and even gave us recommendation. I was tired at the time and went back to the room after check in. When reviewing my confirmation later I realized that in my package I should get a $150 credit and didn’t know why it wasn’t mentioned upon check in. I then went back to the reception desk at April 10 115am and spoke to a long straight hair blonde lady with glasses and asked. She just reviewed my booking and said yes she didn’t see the credit but she would honoured it and add to my room. I then took her word, didn’t even ask for the name and went to bed. In the morning I decided to go back to reception desk at 830am just to make sure my credit was added so I won’t be upsetting my party. I spoke to Desiree and she told me credit was not added. I then explained the situation and she escalated to Julie. Julie the supervisor not listening to my concern simply told me that the credit was not included and told me to speak to west jet. I then said your rep at 115am already told me she would honoured it and she said there was no notes. She then said she would talk to the food and beverage department but she would also be leaving at 3pm so someone else might be handling the issue. Me left upset and decided to skip the gym and called west jet immediately. The west jet rep then told me my credit was clearly written on page 3 of my confirmation with the following details: Receive 150 USD food and beverage credit. Credit has no cash value and will expire upon check out. There is no cash reimbursement if unused. For complete details, please consult the front desk at check in. Food and beverage credit is issued per room per stay. West jet told me to talk to the front desk and show them the confirmation again. At 930am I went back to Julie, send her the confirmation screen shot pertaining to the package and she said she would call me back. At 130pm she called back and said there was no credit. I then asked who I could speak to when I return as I was eating at the time and would miss her shift. She said manager Eric or Andrew. I returned around 530pm now in complete stress and day ruined. This time spoke to Nicole the supervisor and again she said no credit and talk to west jet. I said I was here to speak to Andrew or Eric and I also showed her my confirmation stating what was included. 20 mins later she came back saying Andrew would only honour $100 and asked me to contact west jet again. At that time, I was almost in tears. I didn’t understand how a normal front desk person can upgrade a room, when after speaking to 3 staffs, 2 supervisors and 1 manager who never even spoke to me once could not even honour a $150 credit where it was clearly stated on the confirmation. Everyone was telling me to talk to another party and I was stuck in the middle. Nobody took responsibility when the first rep already told me she was adding it at 115am. This was a lie by Fontainebleau and nobody would dare to address that. I felt little and ashamed. I didn’t do a good job in picking the right hotel and failed my party. If this is Michelin standard I think the staffs need serious training. I will never go back nor recommend this hotel to anyone.

It’s a boutique upscale shopping mall
If u want a champagne breakfast and a Cartier watch this is the place for you. If you want coffee in the morning, you might as well walk to McDonald’s across the street. 2 places had coffee in the morning both with long lines… Like rest of Vegas no shortage of gouging here. 13.00 beers are the norm. The sportsbook is an embarrassment. They have like 5 tables to sit at but the craziest idea is the fact they decided to go with an upscale restaurant as their sportsbook deli. No waitress , no cocktail service in the book. Go to the restaurant for a 13.00 beer. Not to mention they have kiosks there that useless because it’s dark and u can’t even see where to put your money or players card. U need a players card to bet at the kiosks. Bet a 940 am baseball game…had to ask them to get the game up on the screen It was second inning. Re runs and other junk on the screens but no live game. That’s unheard of. The location of this place is horrible… The pool was nice but that’s bout it. This place is not a casino it’s an upscale Boutique upscale shopping mall with ultra expensive restaurants and a few blackjack tables. Still can’t get over the sportsbook If you want to buy a diamond this place is awesome …

Great vibe and good restaurants
Great hotel. Was not expecting the great vibe as it’s a little up The Strip. Location really isn’t an issue. Royal Suite was very comfortable and spacious. For the UK girls…the hair dryer actually has some power! Clothes steamer instead of an iron was a nice touch. Pool area is fabulous. Restaurants are top quality …tried Washing Potato and Mother Wolf….and not super expensive. Collins cocktail bar very smart. Overall great stay.

Loved vegas , hotel was ok!
Lovely hotel , big , clean and stunning . I would say it's probably a bit too far out of the way of main strip. It's also so expensive , but this is vegas, however $40 for a cocktail eek. Some of the staff were friendly , others not so much. The rooms were lovely and we had a great view of the sphere. The cleaning was a bit lazy. They would make beds and clean bathroom but not tidy up the rubbish or the bins? Quite weird? The service by the pool was slow. 20 minutes to bring 2 bottles of water. But we had the best holiday in vegas and will return! As it's a new hotel I expect probably some teething problems but it could be amazing !
