Excellent hotel with lots of gluten free options!!
I had done a lot of research before choosing this hotel and so happy I did. The food, pool , and beach were excellent. The staff at all the restaurants and bars were top notch and go out of their way to keep you happy. Alrhough all the staff were great, I definitely would like to point out one in particular, Chef Paulo. Three members in my family require gluten free food. He went above and beyond to make sure my family’s gluten allergies were taken care off and no one got sick the entire trip. Also, after talking to the front desk concierge Arlet add, they made notes about my family’s gluten allergies. As soon as we would get to the restaurant, the fall ready know about the allergies and made sure the gluten free people could eAt the same type of food as the rest of us. Will definitely be back some day.

Friendly Fun and Excellent
Eladio and everyone is top notch. They called us their amigos and even knew us by name. They gave me dad the name of Lechero/Mr Leche. They always had a smile and they love to know who you are. Awesome people!!! Maybe they will all come to Utah. The food is very satisfying.

Love this place
Will only stay at this resort from now on. The food and service are amazing. Love this place. Thank you Jaqueline, Emiliano, Nayeli and Eladio. Top notch customer service. Muchas gracias. The resort in not the most modern but its perfect. It has everything you can desire for couples or families.

A great vacation
Great pool and Joanna gave us the best service! Food was good and plentiful! Room was not great but we only slept in it! Activities were awesome!the kalmia was the best!San telling had good lobster!Ceviche was excellent

one of the worst hotel experiences ive had
Hello, i have multiple complaints and issues with my trip and stay at the fiesta americana condessa. from the start i had issues i was told my room was going to be ready at 1pm when i checked in and had to wait an extra couple of hours. when i checked in i was suppsed to have all these amenities in the room and there was none of that. the mini fridge didn't work i didnt have an iron or ironing board and robe or slippers and the private pool lights were not working and the pool was not heated and i was told that i would get a bottle of tequila and they brought the wrong one then i tried to get it switched and they were arguing with me that i had it already and i had to go to the front desk 6 times. and then they called my room and sais we are working on it and will call me back and never did. the food was completely disappointing and every restaurant tries to push you to upsell and pay for wine and other dishes and the prices were ridiculous $100 for a steak that was disgusting that i could get better back home in ny for half the cost. and i was here for a wedding and my mother was supposed to be in a handicap room and booked it month ago and checked in and didnt give her a handicap room and then she had to wait 2 days to get one and she couldnt get into the bathroom cause she was in a wheelchair. my whole stay here has been terrible and for my first time in cancun this stay makes me never want to come back. now my flight was cancled and was rebooked to sunday and i needed to stay 2 more nights and i went to the front desk last night and they said no problem there are rooms available and to speak with them in the morning i go this morning and they said we cant do anything here you need to call. so.i call reservations and they say they cant and that i need to have the hotel do it. so i go back to the front desk and they tell me that it is completely booked and that i need to go to a different hotel. so i made reservations at live aqua but i am requesting a free upgrade to have a comparable room like i did at the condess which was a premium suit with private pool. i want a suit and upgraded room for the same price that i paid for this room here at the condessa. and then they told me that i had to get my own transportation. which is ridiculous they tell me there was room available last night now there arent and i have to leave and go to another hotel and they wont even help with transportation i am never coming back to cancun and certainly not staying at any of the fiesta rewards hotels. the stay has been terrible and nothing but poor customer service and everyone has been rude and unhelpful and had problems booking reservations at the restaurant. the website was terrible and when i went to the hostess to ask if I can be seated for one as i was alone they said they couldn't and made up an excuse despite the restaurant practically being empty.
