Expect the Unexpected!!!
When I arrived at the Embassy Suites LAX North my check in process did not go as planned. Due to a system malfunction my check in process was delayed. Originally I had planned to check into the hotel at 2:30pm and pay the early check-in fee to maximize my first day in Los Angeles, CA instead of waiting until the traditional check-in hour. Unfortunately, I was not permitted to check into my hotel room until 4:55pm. I was highly upset because I had to forfeit some of my prior engagements that evening. Although I was irritated by the situation, I had to remind myself to extend grace and reflect from the hotel employees point of view. The system was down the entire evening, but I can gladly say that the hotel staff definitely turned my evening around. I was truly impressed by the teamwork and contribution of each member to find a solution. I also want to highlight Joseph’s integrity to take on the role of creating a system to satisfy the guest with the lack of resources he had at hand. Hilton should definitely take pride in the individuals they hire and uplift Joseph, Andrew, Ben, Darren ,and Jazmin for quickly adapting to change. The following morning I was amazed at breakfast to see how Joseph interacted with his guest that checked in during the system malfunction. I was astonished that Joseph was able to address myself and other guests by last name. I definitely did not feel like a guest anymore, but more like a member of the Hilton Family. I highly recommend that anyone traveling to Los Angeles, CA should check-in to the Embassy Suite LAX North. Thank you Andrew, Ben, Darren, Jazmin, and Joseph.

Pretty awful even for a airport hotel
Pro- decent price and close to airport Cons- extremely loud. We are on 8th floor and can hear street noise louder than any place I’ve ever stayed. Can hear other rooms. The bed is very uncomfortable. The shower would have hot water for a second but mostly barely warm and didn’t drain at all. I called down to lobby last night to ask what time breakfast started and they said 6am and I rushed my 3 kids to get there at 6am and breakfast doesn’t start until 7am today “due to the holiday”. Pastries were sitting out and I asked if I could get one for my kid and the lady just said “not open till 7” rudely. I wasn’t asking for a freaking hot meal, just to reach to grab my hungry kid a pastry a foot away. If they had told me breakfast opened at 7am I would’ve planned breakfast alternative. I was supposed to get two free waters due to Hilton honors status but didn’t get them. Really one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had.

Ok for an overnight stay.
An overnight stay after arriving very late at LAX. Had to queue to check in, staff helpful. Booked a superior room, which was fairly basic, not the best, but reasonably clean, the bathroom and room really need a good makeover. We had to make two phone calls to the front desk for additional bedding for the sofa bed, took about 45 mins to get this, which, when you have been travelling for 18hours and just need sleep is not great. Beds were comfortable and clean, not too noisy considering how near the airport it was. We also did not have to wait too long for the shuttle. Not easy to find where the shuttle ran from, we arrived at Terminal B, we went outside and after asking at the information centre, headed left, looking for the red coloured posts, the shuttle is shared with the Hyatt Place. Breakfast consisted of eggs, sausage, toast, muffins and yogurt, apples, oranges, cereal, coffee, juice (no cooked to order omelettes like other Embassy Suites we have stayed in). The staff were accommodating and cooked my gluten free daughter a couple of fried eggs, which was very much appreciated. We would however stay here again, as it did what we needed it too.

Our new home away from home
I am extremely pleased to recognize the staff at LAX EMBASSY SUITES - NORTH, for their invaluable support in making our stay and unexpected extensions considerably easier. Their exceptional efforts and dedication have significantly contributed to our family not being stressed by flight changes and cancellations. Tomas at the overnight front desk demonstrated a proactive and solution-oriented approach in managing our stay, ensuring all accommodations and logistics were well-organized and seamless as a small group of us arrived late from our flights. and as our unique situation evolved Tomas was still just as accommodating when we need to make yet another extension. Erik from the morning front desk and his attention to detail were exemplary, ensuring that all necessary documentation, reservations, and itineraries were accurate and up to date, further streamlining our stay, and were instrumental in swiftly resolving any issues that arose, ensuring a smooth and stress-free experience for our family. Damian from the breakfast crew made a huge impression on us as he is a friendly face that helped to distract my stressed-out brain so I could think more clearly and coherently. His ability to see the love of fruit from my boys is unprecedented. He was able to provide them with a plate of oranges and apples as those are my boy's favorites. This made their stay all the more enjoyable Elsa from the breakfast crew consistently exhibited a positive and supportive attitude, maintaining a calm and composed demeanor even in that challenging time as the breakfast serving time closed and the rush occurred. Everything was well stocked and cleaned expeditiously, which greatly reassured our family that we continued to make the right choice in staying here. Overall, our stay at LAX EMBASSY SUITES - NORTH was one of the best hotel experiences we have had in recent memory. 11/10 will definitely stay here again as this is now our default choice of stay anytime we transit through LAX.

Basic, but did the job.
The hotel did what it needed to do, we arrived after 24 hours travelling for a 1 night stay. Check.in was fine, shuttle was quick and driver polite. Took a little time for housekeeping to supply additional bedding for the sleeper sofa. Took 2 phone calls before sheets and a blanket was provided. Breakfast very limited, cereal, oatmeal, a couple of hot items, toast, bagels, muffins, yogurt and oranges. Coffee was good. Hotel rooms are in need of updating and this let's the place down. The rooms are just tired but functional. Bed was comfy and it was ideally located too.
