  Hot box with no relief.

  We stayed in apartment 630. It was disgustingly hot and the air conditioning was completely useless and hardly worked at all. We got no sleep despite four cold showers. It was hotter inside than outside. My husband went to reception at 11pm and advised we could not sleep. He was told all the portable fans had already been loaned to other guests. He was advised to discuss it with the staff on check out. We brought the matter up with the staff on check out and were told to send an email. We sent an email and I was basically accused of lying. The apartment looked nothing like the stylishly furnished rooms on the website. We would have overlooked that if the stay had been comfortable. For 660 euro for one night, I expected better. Do not use this hotel in summer.

  Average hotel conveniently located

  Beds are very comfortable. The Eiffel Tower view was lovely and the location was convenient for walking the district. Our triple room was small, but typical of large cities. It worked well for us and our granddaughter. The bathroom had adequate space and a very nice shower. The air conditioning worked to keep the room just bearable (no A/C in the bathroom). Unfortunately, our daughter and son-in-law had a room on the second floor that was hot and stuffy. The air conditioning simply could not keep the room comfortable. They asked for a fan and were (begrudgingly) given a small fan to at least keep the air moving. Our grandson's room was cool enough for him and everything worked. Front desk staff are cordial - not friendly and not rude, but just bare minimum polite, to the point of coming off aloof. The hotel was quiet and well kept. Cleanliness overall was passable. Our bathroom sink did not drain. I reported it to the front desk, but then the next shift came in and had no idea when I asked about it later on the same day. It always surprises me that the housekeeper must not tell anyone about broken things. There's no way she could have cleaned the sink without it backing up. The maintenance man did show up promptly to fix it. Our room was on the little courtyard and the window wouldn't latch. We tried but couldn't make it stay closed. We informed the front desk, but had to sleep the first night knowing someone could just push the window and step right in. We put pill bottles in front of the window to alert us if it opened. The maintenance man came and fixed that the next morning as well. Also, the first night, our daughter and son-in-law were uncomfortable from the hot room, so they opened the doors to the balcony in order to get some air. In the wee hours of the morning, someone climbed up the exterior wall and entered their room. The thieves stole their wallets, passports and phones. Our first morning in Paris was a nightmare. I wouldn't say the hotel is unsafe, but that the city is full of thieves. Just be cautious.

  Perfect Paris stay

  Lovely hotel in great location just minutes from Arc de Triomphe for heading off to see all the sights of Paris - staff were friendly & really helpful. We stayed in disable access room as needed wheelchair access - room was great for this only comment would be - the bathroom door opens in bathroom onto assistance bar if pulled down by toilet - would be better if door opened outwards or onto wall side not toilet. Could do with extra pillows in wardrobe to use as required as arriving night and requesting extra pillow each but wasnt avialable until next day. Close by are some nice restaurants & would highly recommend Merci Jerome for brunch - the best croque monsier ever and delicious fresh pastries & desserts, enjoyed sat outside in the sun and very reasonable prices. No complaints about this hotel and would definitely recommend & stay again... but would like more biscuits next time! Thanks Elysees Union for a lovely stay ... J'adore Paris x

  Extraordinarily helpful and friendly staff, excellent location

  I was very grateful for how the friendly staff supported me when my luggage was delayed at airport. The location is superb on walking distance to Champs Élysées and the Eiffel tower. Breakfast and rooms are fine, if somewhat worn. I felt safe.

  Excellent stay at Hotel Elysees

  I normally do not write reviews but had to compliment our stay at Hôtel Elysees Union in May 2025. It was amazing. The hotel is within walking distance to the Eiffel Tower, metro stations, shopping and restaurants. The hotel was clean and the breakfast there was very good. The hotel staff was so nice and extremely helpful specifically Hichem and Shaheen. They were very professional, polite, knowledgeable and always greeted us with a smile. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel.
