  The perfect Christmas

  We stayed here as a family over the Christmas and newyear period, the hotel is absolutely stunning and in the perfect location to access the papagayo centre and the beautiful marina. The food in the restaurants was lovely had a beautiful meal every night. The drinks and staff at the lobby bar were perfect staff couldn't do enough for you they always had a big smile and nothing was to much trouble especially Ahmeed and Lahcen they are exceptional in their jobs they went above and beyond and really made our stay extra special. We would definitely return to this beautiful hotel and would reccomend to everyone.

  Location, food, service, staff all fabulous

  2nd visit, went last January also. Went as a party of 3. This time we made use of the alternative restaurants and wish I had done so last stay. It’s like going out to good restaurants. Tried 3 out of 4, one was too many meat choices for us, but that’s a personal choice. All the food choices were excellent at all meal times, breakfast lunch and dinner. It was very varied, and hot, and not at all repetitive in the buffet restaurant. The others were fixed menus but were so good we went in two twice on our 10 night stay. Location superb, one traveler had mobility problems but got around the hotel fine on his scooter. It was also close enough to the beach and marina. Cleanliness and hygiene was spot on, in the rooms and restaurants especially. Staff helpful, friendly and welcoming from start to finish. We didn’t do preferred, seemed a bit too expensive just to have different pools and bar, and breakfast option, in winter time, but would consider for summer months. Evening entertainment not too bad, one band in particular were on twice and were fantastic. Highly recommend for couples, families and solo travellers.

  Relaxing

  I can not fault the hotel, I had a relaxing chilled out week. My only negative comment would be the food was never hot , unless cooked to order, and the plates are cold.

  Preferred club guests on a half board basis cannot use the a la carte restaurants without paying

  I had stayed at Dreams only 8 months before on a preferred club all inclusive basis. I loved the a la carte restaurants so much I rebooked a preferred club holiday but on a half board basis as I found the lunches were not really needed and don’t drink a great deal of alcohol. I was extremely disappointed to find even though I was preferred club I could not dine in the evening in the a la carte restaurants unless I paid 80% of the cost of the food. The world cafe is by no means a 5 star restaurant and this completely ruined our holiday. The gates to the preferred club areas were not locked meaning any guest could use these and I really wondered what the benefit of the preferred club is on a half board basis and won’t be returning. I did complain at check in with regard to the restaurants but the staff would not allow us to eat a la carte without paying. A number of guest had been upgraded to preferred club free of charge and I felt as a retuning guest I paid a high price and would never have booked had I known I could not eat in the waiter served restaurants. I was also given a really poor room on check in and had to request a new one which given the hotel was only half full (and the spa was closed ) was not acceptable. Dreams don’t recognise loyalty and I won’t be returning

  Another Fab Stay at Dreams Playa Dorada .👌🏻👌🏻

  Every visit to Dreams has always been a pleasurable one .Its a great location for walks along promenade whether you’re going towards the Marina or to the Harbour side.Along your way you will always find plenty to do. The Atmosphere in Dreams I have always found great , staff are friendly in every aspect from front desk to dining & bars . The rooms are spacious, very clean and very well equipped. The value is good ,👍🏻 .Cleanliness of the hotel is spot on , and there is always a lovely smell going through out the hotel. The noise levels?? What noise levels never heard anything.👍🏻👍🏻 I have been a returning guest for a good few years and will continue to do so .Thank you Dreams for yet another pleasurable New year & holiday.
