It's.. alright.
Pros: Walking distance from LA Union Station, Little Tokyo, Walt Disney Concert Hall, The Museum of Contemporary Art 7-Eleven right across the street, allowing you to grab bottles of water and snacks. Beds were clean. Staff were friendly. Cons: Surrounding area felt unsafe at times. There was an incident at that 7-Eleven with an unruly customer that thankfully was brief, but I genuinely thought was going to end up in a shootout. Parking is mad expensive, if you're bringing a car.

Great, and pleasant stay.
Was a very nice stay. Kalisi was very friendly, and made me feel at home. As a team member, my expectations were high. Super nice, and super professional. The room was spotless, and the service was second to none. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Will definitely return.

A really good place to stay in downtown LA.
Nice hotel downtown LA. Staff super friendly and helpful. Restaurant above par for hotel cafe. Wish they served breakfast round the clock. 24 hour 7-11 across the street. Nice lobby. Parking is expensive, like most of downtown. Rooms are nice: beds were super comfy but bathrooms need updating. As always, the staff makes or breaks a place; everyone was smiling and helpful.

Worst hotel i experienced
This is my worst experience of Hilton. I booked 4 nights stay during new year. In this 4 nights i recienved only 2 small bottles of fresh water for 2 people. Obviously that other 1 star hotel still offer 2 bottles for a room every day. No any snacks or drink in a fridge. I am willing to pay for some drink in case i feel thirsty in the night but no no and no. i tried to find how to call room service or how to order food from the hotel but there are no! You gave me 2 paper glasses in a room. How would u expect me to drink water? Directly from the bottle? It is not a good manner for a customer who have money to stay in Hilton branch hotel. I wish you could place some glass for us to use in a room. Your amenity, only 1 tiny bottle of shampoo and 1 conditioner and small soap. Hello! I have long hair and my boy friend also need to shampoo his hair and it is not enough. I used it all in just one single soak while normally women need 2-3 time soaking their hair. I dont know maybe American people doesnt mind about hygiene but this is unacceptable. Your window is a glass window. I wish i could see the view outside for downtown LA but the window is too dirty with a low visibility. Could you please clean it. i came for New Year to see Firework not a dust on the window. On New year we walk back to Hotel. There's homeless yelling in front of the hotel at 7-11 corner. We dare not walk across the street to get into the hotel. I'm sorry to complain this much but I never expected to have this low quality of service from Hilton branch hotel.

Too noisy
I read many reviews that varied widely, so i want to provide some clarity if possible . The hotel entrance and lobby is very nice. Reminds me of a large airport hotel. The location of the building is a block from city hall. The immediate surroundings are ok but about a block or two away it gets ugly fast, pretty much skid row. Parking was 42 self park or 49 valet. I chose valet and the valet was not very busy and got my car fairly quickly each time. The lobby has a small store where you can buy drinks, snacks and some pre packaged sandwiches and quick bites. I did not try the restaurant. The elevator and hallways are ok and standard for a large hotel, looked clean. I got a room on the 12th floor. The lock and key reader worked fine. The room was clean and fairly standard what i would expect from a double tree. Large TV, firm but comfortable beds, plenty of pillows. Sure the carpets could be cleaner but nothing out of the ordinary and my socks were not dirty after walking without shoes. The fridge was cold. I have no complaints about the bedding and the room itself. For the negative. The bathroom was clean but definitely needs a little TLC to make it not be a negative. For the most part the bathroom is fine with nice amenities and furnishings. The wallpaper was not peeling but could definitely use a good scrub down. There were rust marks in some of the corners. There is a metal cover on the ceiling that had rust coming through… instead of replacing it, you can tell they just paint over the rust. Rusty door hinges. If the hotel simply replaced some of these small things it would make things look alot better. It doesn’t need a full remodel, just some cosmetic fixes and not just coverups. I saw reviews talking about the shower head being very old. So the shower head is not ancient, but it is suffering of hard water and scale buildup. If they cleaned it with CLR it wouldn’t be such a negative reviewed item. There are many small things that if they fixed or replaced it would make this property look way better. These items though are not total deal breakers. However, there is one huge issue that will keep me from coming back…. Noise! Thin walls and you can hear everything happening outside. I was on 12th floor and i could hear traffic noise. Worst of all, i dont know if there is a fire-station nearby but i heard sirens all night and saw fire trucks passing by. Im a heavy sleeper but my spouse who is a light sleeper got no sleep. This is LA and the sirens never stop and the noise just comes right into the room. I can overlook many of the cosmetic issues but i need for it to be fairly quiet.
