Worst experience with a front desk I’ve ever had
Locked my roommate out of the room twice, when his key didn’t work in the morning they refused to let him back in. By far the most rude and disrespectful experience with a front desk I’ve ever had in my life.

You live and Learn
This Hilton property doesn't do the Hilton brand any favors. The area is definitely high risk for criminal activity. The Double Tree has "security" 24/7, however; most of them look like criminals. Once you pass that factor you get in the hotel. The front desk ladies are wonderful. They're as accommodating as they can be within the controls they have to work with. The rooms - Definitely in need of renovation. Dark and dirty. The insulation is horrible, resulting in the need for the heater which makes the room stuffy. No in between. On it's warm and stuffy, off it's cold and getting colder. The room with the fitness equipment not a Fitness Center. Create a real Fitness Center. The restaurant, it's ok in a pinch, limited menu, not a place you would want to eat at every day. The portions are large. The bar, Great service! Nice if it opened an hour earlier When looking for a hotel for this trip I read the amenities and how fabulous this property was supposed to be.... One of the biggest non truths, is the "shuttle", if you read on any review or description of this hotel that they offer a shuttle it's not true. In fact, I had to rent a car (because no shuttle) and pay $12 a night to park it. Real nice Hilton Double Tree! I know I'll be returning to this same area within the next six months, and I'll definitely stay away from this location.

Drugs, bad service and dirty rooms, worst hotel ever!
Worst Hotel ever.... really bad service, dirty rooms, bunches of drugs addicts, which I don't care if they like drugs or not, that made me upset was the fact that one addict woman offered drugs to my 2 daughters (one is 11 and the oldest 12). Really disappointed how Hilton is coming downhill very quick... please don't come to this hotel specially if you are looking a clean room, average service and not drugs

Average Property with terrible wifi
The hotel is fine, rooms are in ok shape, a little bit of wear and tear. Sleep quality was good, clean, no housekeeping. Hotel does have a rectangular layout with long halls, doors on first floor rooms open to pool courtyard or interior halls, a bit of a strange layout. My room was on ground floor and no wifi available due to this concrete building blocking any signal. My cell connection was also bad, so I could not use hotspot. The interior courtyard and pool could use a little bit of TLC. Breakfast was $18 + tax/tip and basic quality. They do have a coffee shop. Parking is $12/day self park, and there are 2 security patrol cars actively circling the lot at all times, seems like they had a lot of crime issues in the past and now have strict security and passing down the cost to guests via the $12 fee (plus tax) It is just ok for the area, and for a quick stay, but definitely not a vacation hotel. Rates can be affordable, but after paying for parking and breakfast, might get more expensive than other hotels.

Staying in Denver, look elsewhere
Not in a great area and you can see from the exterior of the property that it's not in great shape. The rooms are fairly clean, but in a state of disrepair. The wallpaper was peeling and the bathtub drain didn't drain well when we used it.
