Transitional Housing in Manatee County
After dealing with the perfect storm of housing problems (pandemic, end of ERA funds, landlords not taking 3rd party payors, and Hurricane Ian- our 4month stay at the Days Inn was stress free and allowed us to get back on our feet and into permanent housing.

You Charged An Extra Fee For This Room??
This motel has easy access to Interstate 75, and several dining options. It is neither the worst, nor the best Days Inn that we've ever stayed in. Here is the problem...Upon arrival, I was charged an additional $15 pet fee. My issue with that, is that my pet is far cleaner than the room I was given. The first thing, is that there was a dirty towel from a previous guest, left hanging on the back of the bathroom door. How does housekeeping miss that? But even worse than that, is that on the wall by the bed next to the bathroom, there was a mysterious brown "substance" smeared on the wall in 2 spots. I did not want to get close enough to try and identify exactly what the "brown substance" was. I can only guess. This is completely unacceptable, and there is no way it is a simple oversight. It's one of the first things you see when you walk into the room. How do you present a room in that condition, to a guest? Unless this property is willing to refund my pet fee for the trouble (as my pet is clean, doesn't watch TV, doesn't shed or have an odor, etc), I am going to take this to Wyndham, since this motel is a stain on their good name. They did have an awesome 4K television. That is the upside.

Days inn I75
Do not stay Days inn I75. FULL OF BUGS. Also carpet was wet and room smell like mold. Ceiling in bathroom looked like it was falling in. Needs to be completely gutted and redone.. Staff was nice. Would never stay at this Days inn again.
