Very good
I had a fantastic stay at Crowne Plaza Zurich! The hotel is modern and beautifully maintained, with a stunning lobby that creates a welcoming first impression. My room was exceptionally clean and comfortable, with all the amenities I needed. A special thanks to Stathis, who was incredibly kind and hospitable—he truly made me feel at home with his warm and professional service. The staff overall were attentive and friendly. I highly recommend this hotel for both business and leisure travelers. Looking forward to returning!

Memorable stay
My husband and I had a most unforgettable experience at the Crowne Plaza Zurich as we celebrated our 20th anniversary. On arrival, we felt very welcome, greeted with a smile by GianCarlo. We arrived early and our room was not ready; he assisted us with our luggage and invited us to have a welcome drink, as per IHG, and we also received our welcome amenities as Platinum Ambassadors. We met the Duty Manager, Christian, who escorted us to the Fourtwenty Bar and Restaurant to relax. They were very helpful, prioritized us, and promptly checked us in. We also received our requested quiet room on a high floor. Kudos to the housekeeping team; the welcome letter and chocolate were always appreciated. The room was spotless, the bed was comfortable, and it was cleaned every day. We met Chronis, who was very knowledgeable and happy to help us navigate our tour. We had dinner at the Fourtwenty Restaurant: The waiters were very special indeed. I didn't catch their names. They recommended we try the daily special; it was a great choice. Thank you, Chef. The hotel is a 4-minute walk to the tram, very accessible. On departure, we met Raquel, who checked if everything was okay. All we can say is we had a great stay. Switzerland is a magical place; everything is beautiful. Thank you; we will visit again.

Excellent customer service
Tatjana is an absolute star! I am a platinum member with IHG and I stay in this crowne plaza at least quarterly due to work. From start to finish, her attention to detail, remembering the little things, and precise customer service are rare qualities that should constantly be emulated in establishments all over the world. Thanks, Crowne Plaza Zurich team, will be back!

Disappointing Check-In Experience at Crowne Plaza Zurich
We arrived at 4:30 PM, expecting a standard check-in. An older staff member initially welcomed us and began the process. However, when we questioned a price discrepancy between our IHG confirmation email and the rate being charged, she called over a younger receptionist—and the experience deteriorated quickly. The second staff member was rude, dismissive, and condescending from the start. She made no effort to assist, showed no understanding of the IHG booking system, and even implied our confirmation email might be fake. Her tone and attitude were completely inappropriate, and her name tag was covered, or we would have reported her directly. When we asked to speak with the manager, she coldly said, "This conversation is over. The manager will speak to you," and walked away. We were left waiting in the lobby for over 30 minutes with elderly parents, without a seat, water, or any follow-up from the front desk. The duty manager, when he arrived, was the only professional we dealt with. He reviewed the emails, confirmed a system error on IHG’s side, and rebooked our rooms with the correct rate. He apologized for the situation, which we appreciated. However, our check-in wasn’t completed until 6:30 PM—2 full hours after arrival. None of the other staff offered an apology or showed any concern. Only the manager acted with professionalism and courtesy. This was by far one of the worst hotel check-in experiences we’ve had. The staff (except the manager) lacked basic customer service skills, and the situation was handled poorly from the start. We expected better from an IHG property.
