Quick stay in New Orleans, I would come again.
Hotel met expectations for being clean, accommodating, affordable, and close to the New Orleans vibe. I was appreciative that my room was tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the party scene. Special thanks to Sam for securing me that room and showing great customer service on checkout. It would be great to have more police walking the blocks/area to deter potential criminal activity.

Carrie was an excellent hotel clerk and very patient. The customer service was great. 10/10 would recommend staying here. The elevator was extremely fast and made the travel to upper floors swift and efficient.
Don't waste any money here....
Don't stay here if you have a choice. We did not (business mtg.paid for by the government) and this was the cheapest place they could find to house us. Hotel located on Canal with Bourbon St. on one side. Noise 24/7 on Bourbon, even with earplugs the hotel had for the rooms. Drumming ALL NIGHT long! Good location for any tourist activities but. ...Drug dealers and homeless people hung out in front of the hotel to the left and you had to pass a gauntlet of them to get in the hotel. At least there was security at night! Room was 926, between the elevator and ice machine. Whooshing noise from the elevator 24/7 and noise from the ice machine and vending machines whenever people used them. Room was dark, furniture old wood and very banged up. Window very tiny. No towel bars in the bathroom, shower head coming out of the wall. Room not cleaned one day and we had trouble even getting replacement towels that day. At night, no one answers the phone. If you go downstairs, there was a young man on his phone scrolling the internet - too busy to help, I guess. Keycards got deactivated three out of the five days. If I were part of IHG which is the chain to which the hotel belongs, I would be ashamed.! This place is a mess and I would never stay here again.
Not the worst but certainly not the best.
Bryon was THE BEST. The check-in staff were unhelpful and the bell hop was straight up rude. I booked this hotel through Priceline for a one night stay because of an event nearby. My wife and I arrived early, to huge convention going on. No problem. The valets were kind and prompt. When we asked about baggage check…the staff literally just pointed to the baggage check. Checkin was supposed to start at 4. We waited until almost 6 to return to the hotel. After waiting in line for almost 30 minutes we were told our room wasn’t ready. After almost another hour Byron appeared out of nowhere near where my wife and I were “camped” in the aux lobby. Within 8 minutes we were in our room. The front desk staff never even checked on us. Byron saved the day/night and should be commended. I won’t be staying here again and I hope he moves to another property that appreciates his efforts. Summary : Valets A Random Staff : A+ Literally everyone else - D+ Bellhop/ Baggage Attendant - F
Outstanding experience. Especially the care and attention provided by Byron to our entire group. The conference was enhanced by his presence, constant communication and coordination of all our events and activities. Superlative experience.
