Some great Disney style hotel but also not perfect
Overall checks most of the right boxes. Immediately outside Disneyland and an easy walk into the park. The rooms are particularly family friendly and if you’re willing and able to pay up for it have some amazing family bunk bed suite options. The in hotel “waterpark” is real with both two water slides and an over the top playground play pad. The hotel is currently extensively renovating its dining area which was disappointing but they are doing a reasonable job with the small coffee bar that punches above its weight (no free breakfast but I’m a cheapskate).

Clean and comfortable, walking distance to the park.
The room was clean, comfortable and larger than the average hotel room. It also had bunk beds. The view of the park was great and we enjoyed the fireworks from the room. The stand alone shower did not have great water pressure and the hot water kept shutting off. The tub/shower combination was much better. Because of the view it was a little pricey-it was nice, however to be able to walk to the park.

Just as described, Bunks were a big hit
Easy check in onli e and room was ready when we arrived before 4. 10 minute walk to Disney enterance, we felt very safe in the area night and day. Beautiful clean and so perfect for Disneyland. We had a corner room park view side. We were able to see fireworks from our balcony nightly. Wonderful stay! Waterpark needs a bit of maintenence but 3 year old sure had fun.

Grandparents beware
Worst most overpriced crappy hotel ever ! As grandparents wanted a nice oasis away from family in evenings, so we splurged on a suite with a balcony . ($1824.92 for two nights ) Well guess what ….. no furniture on balcony ! Brought a nice bottle of wine …. Crappy plastic cups ! So thirsty ….. empty fridge , can’t find water anywhere ! Oh just found a bottle for $4.50 . Maybe should have taken car to get some…. At $50 a day for valet parking need to get moneys worth ! Love our grandkids but wow this was a huge mistake !!! And don’t be fooled into thinking this hotel is actually at the theme park entrance…. It’s quite a walk and lots of hotels are way closer . Most disappointing value in a hotel I have ever stayed at , they don’t care and are a typical tourist trap .

Great Disneyland hotel option
We had an excellent stay for our spring break. The spring decorations in the hotel were so cute and magical! It was a fun surprise when we walked in. The room was clean, beds were very comfortable, loved the two shower option in our bathroom, the kids loved the bunk bed. It was a quick walk to Disneyland, very doable. Looking at the other closer motels most were room entries outside, which the Marriot was not. I personally like that better. The water park area wasn't too big, but that's ok. It was perfect for our 11 and 7 year old. They had fun with the splash pad and slides, pool. It was easy to sit and watch them play as well. There was construction going on at the hotel while we were there but we could hardly tell. Occasionally during the day or late afternoon when we'd be pack for a park break we could sometimes hear the work below our room, but that wasn't a big deal at all. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We could also see the fireworks from our room, which was a fun surprise for too! I'd definitely stay here again if we return to Disneyland.
- AdvisoryThe city of Anaheim is still struggling to employ enough staff to keep up with the demand of the area. Due to this we are still not offering full service housekeeping until the 3rd night of the stay. If a guest requests a full service each day, or extra towels, linens or trash to be taken out we will honor their request. everything will be updated once the things will be change.
- AdvisoryThe new changes to our Waterpark sessions and reservations system. Starting April 1, 2023, guests will be allowed to reserve up to 3 time slots per day, seating is based on availability. This change is to make it easier for our guests to plan their visit and maximize their enjoyment of our Waterpark.
- AdvisoryA minimum Valet parking fee of $40.00 plus tax per car, per night, will be charged and collected by the hotel at check-in or check-out. This hotel only has valet parking, no self-parking is allowed. The fee is subject to change without prior notice. The information published here is to give the client an estimate of additional fees they may be responsible for but not a guarantee of the final amount due.
- AdvisorySurfside Waterpark will be temporarily closed from January 19–29, 2026 for essential maintenance. Due to the scope of this work, the entire waterpark, including the hot tub and swimming pool, will be closed.
- AdvisoryWe are pleased to share progress on the renovation timelines which is extended slightly, we confirm full completion by July 1, 2025. All guest rooms are now fully revitalized, earning enthusiastic praise for their modern upgrades: new mattresses, bedding, Disney-themed artwork, refreshed carpets, functional workspaces, and enhanced bathroom mirrors. The lobby’s completion is delayed but will debut exceptional features, including a full-service bar, a contemporary seating area, and CALM Coffee.
