    Somewhat good

We had an ocean view room really beautiful waking up to the sea and nude island every morning (no nudies at the hour). All the staff work very hard always had everything we needed. The resort says tips included but we did tip some of the staff. I wouldn’t say we received any better or less service with or without a tip obviously everyone’s personalities are different you get more chirpy and then your more reserved all staff go over and beyond to ensure you are ok. They day trips included are so good we did glass bottom boat, Dunn river and the catamaran! All fab really enjoyed them and would recommend these! However be aware of the market they take you through at the end of the dunn river trip I wonder whether this could be avoided if you choose if you want to go through or whether they purposely take you through it! There was two real draw backs to the hotel one was the lack of good entertainment. It was mainly the fusion band and some singers which is really boring and ended up in bed early the majority of the stay. A big indoor bar is needed or piano bar to be bigger as nowhere to sit and chil at nights without. Best night was Wednesday with the Steele band and the fire show something similar should be on throughout the week. The second was the lack of good vegetarian options! Prior to booking we research hotel menus due to me being a vegetarian and having poor experience of food on holidays. We seen the menu and there was tofu and noodles etc I thought great! Unfortunately tofu was served only once at a dinner time and no noodles! My options every day were; rice, bland pasta dishes, oily cold pasta, oily vegetables, oily potatoes, salad ( never any dressing as they were not labelled individually so how you suppose to know which is which when they look the same). Some days there was a soup option however majority it was either fish or chicken. Also some days there was a pizza option which I had to wait for after the opening times and you have to get this as it comes out the oven as if it’s sat there 5mins it is dreadful! I like to eat healthy and focus on protein this food really upset my belly and impacted on how I felt during my stay! My stay was not what I expected it to be. Also the in room booklets and the app needs updating! Could have been an exceptional experience however I was disappointed with the evening and food choice for veggies not all veggies eat fish!!!

Wonderful Small Quiet Resort to Enjoy and have a Nice Reset

If you’re looking for a lovely quiet getaway away from kids and big party crowds then this is the place for you. We were so happy with our stay, the staff were friendly, the food was abundant (and SO FREAKING GOOD), and they have a number of excursions included in the price which give great value. If you’re looking to be loud and party with a big group like the other reviewer from Mississauga then this place is definitely not for you and yes, you should look elsewhere. We enjoyed how relaxing and quiet it was with couples and small groups. the bar was close to the beach so a short walk, or the staff would serve you right on the beach using a flag system. Fruit and veggie bar right on the beach too for snacks and a poolside bar near the opposite end of the beach as well. We did a number of the excursions including Dunns Falls (make sure you don’t go on a cruise ship day), glass bottom boat tour, and the shopping tour. They also have a tour desk in the front lobby where we booked a couple other excursions at an extra cost including swimming with dolphins and the luminous lagoon. I also did the scuba lesson and then paid for a dive in the ocean - it was truly magical and we saw a large ray on the bottom of the ocean!! All transportation is arranged for you which is lovely - they take care of everything (I highly recommend Carlos and Bones for drivers!). If you’re looking for something specific staff will go out of their way to find someone who can offer it to you or give you the experience you are looking for. Here staff are encouraged to sit and speak with you so you never feel like just another customer, they really personalize your experience and make you feel like part of their big family. Even though 1 week is really only a blip to some of them who’ve been there over 10 years! Great room service twice daily unless you put out your do not disturb card. They even come in the evening and prep your bed and curtains for sleep time! Lots of daily and evening events, it’s really impossible to do everything they have to offer. The first night they set up the pool deck with glittering lights, live entertainment and a HUGE buffet. They had a fire show, acrobatics, piano bar, and lots of other wonderful local acts to keep you entertained. If that’s not enough to sell you, they also have a coffee bar, gym with yoga classes, beach volleyball, and 3 restaurants that are spectacular. Eight Rivers is the fanciest one and the food was incredible. Overall we had a wonderful experience and are crying today coming home to 2 feet of snow. Will definitely be back.

    Week getaway

Beautiful place with awesome staff. We were treated as if all the staff were long time family members. Our room was clean and the view spectacular. The resort has lots of activities of which we enjoyed participating in. The entertainment was great each evening. If only I had more vacation time, we would be back already!

We hadn't been to Couples Tower Isle in a couple of years because of the pandemic and St Louis halting the Charter direct air service to Jamaica! This year we decided to use frequent flyer miles with American. The resort is still as peaceful as ever and the food was excellent in the 3 restaurants, Eight Rivers, Verandah and Bayside. However this time I was disappointed in the Patio restaurant. Also top alcohol not at the Patio Bar and somewhat limited at the Piano Bar. Rooms normal clean but probably need updating, beds slept well. Our room was 2104 above the main pool, We originally booked 5 nights but because of weather going home we decided to stay 2 extra days. doing this was a breeze. They were very accommodating getting this done and the charge for the extra 2 days was okay. Actually I thought it would be a little higher than they charged. We have been to Couples Tower Isle 7 or 8 times u may always have a bump in the road does it stop us from coming back! Heck no! We still LOVE this place!

    Stunning beauty!

We loved every moment of our stay. The staff is impressive and they are truly the heart of the resort. The food is amazing and plentiful. The chefs at each restaurant prepare fresh food and offer so much variety. Because it’s all inclusive, don’t be afraid to try something new. You won’t regret it! The spa services are a must. We had a couples massage and i went back for a seaweed wrap. Absolutely wonderful. We are already planning our return trip.
