Couples Tower Isle - Fantastic
My wife and I visited Couples Tower Isle from 27th December until 6th January. We had researched the resort, taking on board both the negative and positive comments. As others have said the property is slightly dated, but in our opinion this added to the resorts charm. We had a ‘garden’ view room on the 3rd floor of building 3, it was lovely, clean and roomy with the balcony over looking the grounds gardens, where all sorts of wildlife and tree’s could be observed, with the highlight being able to see the hummingbirds. One of the main reasons for choosing Tower Isle was the food which was fantastic, from the buffet restaurant which had a vast array of fresh food to the ‘Bayside’ & ‘Eight Rivers’ a la cart restaurants which served elegant and delicious menus. You also had out of hours food available at the ‘Grill’ which served burgers, hot dogs etc all through the night. The pool areas were great, all very clean and plenty of sun beds. We spent the majority of our time at the swim up bar pool and enjoyed exploring the vast cocktail menu🤪. The beach was cleaned daily by the water sports team and the sea water was lovely and warm. The staff at the resort are the main reason people return here year after year, we have been to many resorts but the staff here are the best ever encountered, especially the entertainment team who go over and above to make sure everyone is having a great time. This was our first trip to the Caribbean and I’m glad we choose Couples Tower Isle, we may not be back due to lots of other islands we want to visit, but we would recommend this resort without hesitation

Terrible
Awful, room was dirty, cupboard doors haven’t been washed in a long time, ants everywhere, bathroom, on 5 thentoilet, in the sink, on the furniture. The stairwells were filthy as well, water leaks throughout the building. Main bar outside…unfriendly, drinks were awful, dirty glasses used.

Visit to couples tower Island
We stayed from December 16 to the 22nd. We had great service overall (sure there are a few unhappy people but they are a small minority). The food was generally really good and there’s a lot to do. We had one of the newer ocean front suite rooms and had no complaints at all with the room. Some of the best service came from all the folks at the watersports division, in particular Captain Nevers and Colin provided a fantastic twilight cruise and they were always very helpful. Also Roger and Mark were great for our water skiing session and Mark took us on an awesome sailing lesson. Brendan and Dwight were also super friendly and helpful- couldn’t get enough time on the water!. The Bayside and eight Rivers restaurants were our favorites and Kim at eight Rivers was a real standout. At the spa,had a great treatment from Tae, who’s top notch! We had a tiny bit of a glitch on the arrival but Dilly made things right (I also have to mention Kirk and Emeryth were great concierges). We’ll be back! John and Eve

Can't beat the inclusions and au naturel island
We stayed at Couples Tower Isle for three nights in a Superior Ocean Room and had a fantastic time. Couples Tower Isle offers tons of inclusions, similar to Sandals resorts. Transportation, gratuities, drinks, dining, AND excursions (!!) are included. That's an incredible value, especially for the great rate we paid. We were only able to take advantage of one excursion due to our short stay, but if we were staying longer we would definitely have taken advantage of the others as well. This makes Tower Isle a great option if you are staying for a long visit or like to get off resort. The resort is on the smaller side and thus feels more along the lines of a boutique hotel experience rather than a typical large resort. The history of the place as a destination for Old Hollywood stars is very interesting as well. From our experience, this is a very quiet resort, and the demographic is decidedly older - and repeat visitors if that says anything about the report. We are in our late 30s and felt like the youngest by a couple decades - but we loved it because we wanted a quiet experience. The main highlight for us was of course the au natural island. This was our first nude beach experience, and although we were a bit apprehensive, we are so glad we did it! The au natural island is small but the resort wasn't crowded at all during our stay, so the island was never packed. You also have the option of sitting to the left by the bar and pool for more action or head to the right for more quiet if you are shy. Note you can visit for 30 minutes in the morning before it becomes nude time to check out the island and take photos. The resort has a nice but small beach area, though the water is rocky right off the main beach, so make sure you wear water shoes. There are multiple pools, one with a swim-up bar, and several jacuzzis. Food was fantastic - make sure you get a reservation for Eight Rivers which was a vibe. The only downside we noted is that many of the rooms are definitely old and in definite need of refurbishment. However, we don't go on vacation for the room so no big deal for us. Don't forget to join the free Romance Rewards program in advance of your stay so you can take advantage of its perks, like pre-selecting your mini-bar, the ability to make advance restaurant reservations, and access to the Trading Places resort exchange with Couples San Souci as an excursion (which we did - really cool to spend the day at the sister resort). Overall a great stay and we look forward to visiting more Couples resorts in the future.

Great vacations
Great couples resort we visited in November 2024. Food was amazing especially at Eight Rivers Restaurant and Bayside. Lovely staff and very attentive to the guests at all times. Our room was well kept to our needs and beyond. Swimming pools were clean and grounds beautiful. The beach is smaller but the water sports offered were plenty. Piano Bar the best Martinis- yum! Please bring back drinks menus! Special shout outs to Shanice who helped us making our time perfect, Cyril always kept us entertained and Latoya making the best drinks at the pool bar. Thank you to all!
