A We have just returned from a fabulous holiday at CSA where we also got married. I have spilt my review into two sections for a general review and a review of the wedding. Hotel We upgraded and had an ocean front beach suite which was dated but quite charming. Repairs reported but wasn’t always fixed. The room was always cleaned to a variable standard. The water pressure was variable when having a shower. Overall we loved our suite and had a large patio that was enclosed and private. The room was very noisy in the night and unfortunately we was woken up each morning with a local vender shouting “smoke man” repeatedly each morning. We had read reviews before we left and some comments about stealing, we felt incredibly safe on this resort and felt comfortable in leaving our back doors open when leaving from the patio. However the venders on the beach are incredibly annoying. We was once approached whilst we was in the sea although security did come and move the guy on. One day whilst my husband was in the sea I was sunbathing alone and was bothered i felt really uncomfortable. Some members of staff also tried on a few occasions to sell us weed even when we said we didn’t smoke! The beach towels are not great so would suggest if you want your towel to cover your sun longer then bring some with you. They are simply the bathroom towels. The food was the biggest highlight for us and absolutely incredible. In feathers the food really is fine dining and we ate here three times and thoroughly enjoyed every meal. Lemongrass is Asian inspired and absolutely delicious. Patios is also lovely and doesn’t require a reservation. We also enjoyed drinking cocktails at the bar here. Carson was amazing at cocktails and made our evenings so nice with his friendly conversations and excellent service. The buffet at the palms is also excellent however the service in here is variable. It will take you a long time to get a cup of coffee so I would suggest if you like to drink your coffee with your breakfast fetch your own. We loved the food at scotch bonnet however this was the worst service in the whole resort with consistently rude staff, dirty tables, cutlery and salt and pepper not on every table. My husband wouldn’t eat there again after a member of staff was incredibly rude to him as we didn’t want to experience another hostile environment this was disappointing as the jerk chicken was my favourite. The martini bar is amazing and the two men behind the bar make it so much fun serving cocktails. Extensive list which we couldn’t get through! Natasha and Akeem behind the sunset beach bar was just fantastic always so friendly and enthusiastic providing excellent customer service and enhancing our holiday so much. Patios was closed for breakfast as the hotel was not very busy. This felt very unfair and we had booked and paid under the impression that all restaurants would be open. Another huge disappointment was the hotel is advertised as a spa but they will only let you use the facilities if you payed a fortune for a treatment except separate men and women steam rooms. This was annoying when it rained all day. The gym however is excellent. Wedding Perfect destination for a wedding. Rochelle and destin was amazing co ordinators. We had the perfect day, photography by Michael was just excellent. The salon staff however are very rude and not skilled stylists. I had an awful wedding hair trial which almost ruined my wedding day luckily a wonderful guest at the hotel saved the day by doing my hair.

    A wonderful holiday

2nd time at Couples Swept away and hopefully will not be our last. A wonderful shout out to all the staff, their very hard work gave us all the chance of a wonderful, stress free and very happy holiday. Thank you so much Just one little thing.... whilst we were there in April, there were a few very obnoxious loud Canadian/American people who took over the jacuzzi many evenings until 8.30. pm leaving everyone around without the choice of sitting quietly on their balconies after dinner.. it happens doesn't it.

    Amazing beach 🏝️

This was our 3rd visit to Couples Swept Away. The resort is located on the beautiful 7 mile Beach. It is a long and wide beach with powdery white sand and crystal clear calm water. They provide awesome floats that are perfect for floating in the water. Motorized and non motorized water sports are included even Scuba diving which is a great value. Definitely do the snorkeling trip and the catamaran to Ricks Cafe. Super fun. The water is super calm in the morning so it is easier to do kayaking and paddle boarding before lunch. For an all inclusive I think the food is very good. Lemon Grass was our favorite this trip. Reservations are required but we walked up inquired and they were able to accommodate. Highly recommend the Martini 🍸 Bar right outside Lemon Grass. I loved the French 75. The rooms are decorated island chic reflecting soft tones and natural woods of Jamaica. The mini bar comes with sodas, beer, and juice. You also get a pitcher of water filled up each day. Now they have ice and water stations at each building which is great to fill up your insulated cup. Look for the Minibar card to fill out for personalized liquor and mini fridge options. The AC cranked out some cool air!! We were only coming up for a long weekend so we decided to do the TimAir plane from Montego Bay to Negril airport. Highly recommend, it was amazing and I’m not a good flier. It was 12 minutes and then you are in paradise. I loved seeing all the parishes we usually drive through and then all the resorts. We flew over CSA which was really cool!! If you are looking for a beautiful beach with good food and drinks, Couples Swept Away is your place. I love the new addition of the coffee shop in the lobby. Till next time…

Amazing hotel, just couple things need addressing

If it wasn’t for one thing this hotel would get five stars. So I will go with the really bad negative first. My BF is Jamaican, he drove out one morning and the lady on the security said she had to search his car, he questioned if she said it was policy to search guests cars!!!! So next day I asked her she lied to my face and again told me it was policy but funnily enough didn’t search when I was in the car! So I asked to streak to the manager, and asked if policy to search guests cars, response absolutely not! Only people working at hotel. I thought this was the case as I have never had my car searched in the thousands of hotels I’ve stayed at! My BF had told the lady on security he was a guest and she still insisted! This is so so bad and to be lied to my face by the lady to just disgusting! I told the hotel this needed seriously addressing! Also a repeat guests and first time stayed one of ladies on reception was so rude when I asked if I could change rooms due to noise of construction. Again I was being polite but her response was not folk. So now for the positives. We are repeat guests there, this was last time we stayed. The ocean view superior rooms are amazing, rustic feel, beautiful views, don’t bother upgrading to suites in main building, they overlook pool, are old, go for the beach front rooms, I’ve stayed in both. Food is amazing, we stayed over Christmas and there Christmas Eve Gala just wow. Good entertainment. And repeat guests dinners are also amazing love that night. Beach is amazing and proximity to everything. I love this hotel, just a few things with some of the staff that are rude needs addressing as such a bad experience with my BF.

It was a great get away!

This was our first all inclusive vacation. It met all of our expectations and more. The resort was beautiful. The staff were friendly and very hospitable. There was the option to schedule many fun things offered or just lay back and relax. There was something for everyone. We will be back to visit.
