The most amazing time on par with sandalls and even better on some parts

1st time at Swept away and had the most amazing time . Me and my wife normally go to Sandalls all over and have tried them all and fancied a change . Sandalls being premium brand and always good we where 😂 and hoping this might be as close & it really was and better in some ways . Food was amazing and the feathers resturant was as good as any I have eating in London 5star . All drinks where always good & the staff where very friendly all the time . Room was very very nice as was the bed and all grounds around swept away . Give this place a visit it won’t disappoint at all 👏👏👏👏👏

    Beautiful Negril

Travelled Jan10-19. Took the plane from the airport and was on the beach 1hr30min from landing. Resort is great! People who complain about this place probably complain about little things in life. If you want sparkling marble, fancy anything don’t come here. If you want to feel the Jamaican vibe this place is perfect. If you need something just ask with a smile and they will get you what you want! No complaints here and hope to come back one day!!☀️😎

    Wonderful holiday

Back from 10 days at Couples Swept Away. Such a lovely resort with the best beach we have ever been to. The sand is so soft and the sea is the clearest. This is the most all inclusive hotel we have ever been to with regards to activities and sports etc. Across the road is a 10 acre site where the spa and sport facilities are. We would recommend the orienteering at 10am each day. We don't normally do this but glad we did as we wouldn't have found a number of the bars/areas etc. Numerous tennis courts with free coaching, pickle ball and squash courts. Fantastic gym (open sided) and equipment and separate aerobic studio. Lane swimming pool where aqua classes are held plus bar with fruit juices and smoothies etc available. Pool table and a TV showing sports. Nice shower and changing rooms which you utilise for late check out. Rooms are in two or three storey buildings either beach front or amongst the gardens. We were in room 4302. Nice room but only downside of this hotel is that there is a main road which is quite noisy, however you are in your rooms for such a little time that it is not an issue. The main road affects all properties on this coastline. Daily activities consist of complimentary sunset cruise, scuba diving, snorkeling, cocktail making classes, activity classes such as hat/wood making, dance classes, sport activities to name just a few. Snorkeling is available x3 a day but we would recommend going in the morning session as the sea seems to get rougher from midday onwards. Snorkeling isn't great. From the beach head out to the buoys and you will see huge starfish and my OH saw stingray on the first day in this area. On the snorkeling trip, you are out for an hour. You get to see fish but we have had better experiences in Antigua, Egypt etc. If you've never been snorkeling before then i am sure you will enjoy this but if you have been many times then this is nothing special. Two pools, one with a bar which we didn't use as we couldnt draw ourselves away from the amazing beach. The sunbeds all have mattresses on them which double up us a lilo, just pick it up and take it into the sea when you fancy a dip! Lovely idea. As in every resort, sunbeds are reserved early. There is a wedding area on the beach but personally i wouldn't get married here as it is in the middle of the beach with sun loungers either side. I would prefer a more private area to ensure you haven't got sunbathers in the background. There are the usual beach sellers but if you just ignore them they don't bother you. Food was very good, two a la carte restaurants, buffet which was a la carte a couple of nights a week plus Potois and a beach bar during the day. Potois was our favourite and the menu changed each week. Only suggestion is that i always had to ask for hot sauce (pepper) which was always kept in a cupboard. Given this is the Caribbean a country which like their spices, i would have thought this condiment would just be on the side to help yourself to. Staff were all very lovely. Very happy and attentive, very different style to the staff in Antigua. They say this is a strictly non-tipping resort but we gave a couple of tips as the staff really deserve it and appreciate it. We heard others doing it as well. We met a lot of Americans who are repeat guests. In their words, this is the best beach. We are already planning our return visit next year. Would definitely recommend this resort.

    Perfect

Stayed for 2 weeks from 3rd January. Room was lovely just in the location we requested. Stayed mainly around the main pool which was perfect for us close to restaurants beach toilets and bar. Only went to the other end of the resort twice my mobility is not good. Food was amazing in The Palms at all times great choice too. Lemon Grass restaurant was amazing too. Staff were really helpful and happy always had a smile Natasha at the palm remembered what our drinks were after 2 days and always had them ready when she saw us coming excellent service. Just a few things that could be addressed the handrails into the pool need a bit of TLC just a rub with steel wool would fix it. And a bit more general cleaning around the pool. The Palms could do with a lick of paint. We had an excellent time. Would recommend.

    Fantastic Service

Enjoyed fantastic service at Couples Swept Away. We loved the location being right on 7 Mile Beach. Stayed at Couples Negril last year but preferred Swept Away location. Really enjoyed the food and the staff was over the top. Our favorite restaurant was Feathers. Kudos to the ladies who served us on 2 occasions (Sean Jama - Restaurant Leader, Stephanie - Running the Bar, and our Server Khadijah). Give those girls a raise. They are so much fun and really know how to deliver a personal world-class experience. Lots of amenities to enjoy. The Sports Plex is amazing and we learned how to play pickleball. The snorkeling tour was great and we loved the sunset catamaran with Captain Stone and the Cruise Director Varlene. We will definitely be coming back!
