    Absolutely amazing!

We’re back almost a week from what was an amazing holiday! I’m an honest reviewer and I cannot fault this hotel, we’ve been to many adults only in the caribbean and this is our absolute favourite ❤️ The minute you arrive you feel welcome and all of the staff want you to have a good time! The lobby staff, entertainment, housekeeping, the restaurant staff all fantastic ! Shout out to McCue and Shanea, what brilliant ambassadors for this hotel, our lovely housekeeper Tahaiti who left our room spotless every day! Loved the entertainment, just a bit disappointing for the entertainment team that people did seem to retire early but we did not! Piano bar was fab, I can’t say enough good things about this hotel! Other comments I’ve read about it being geared for the US I disagree with, we’re British and were treated just the same as any other guest, we will definitely return!

Sophistication and culinary masterpieces to level up the ultimate experience on uniquely sustainable authentic property

Wayne Buchanan, Tyrone! Absolutely epic culinary treats. Every meal feels empowering. Every meal delighed. The plates contained more than food. This is passion at its core. Absolutely enjoyed the food and variety of tastes and displays. Yes. The real real Jamaican goat for Gala night curried goat delighted. This speaks columes to the effort and care that goes into sourcing and preparing authentic pieces. And everyone from front desk to grounds keep: Trudy Ann, Mr Dyce and Natassia went above and beyond to welcome us home. A truly amazing place. But more to the people you interact with daily make the property home. Mom was recovering. And we trusted thay we would get top class of everything here. Pool service optimized. For my mom. Thanks again my friends for the Fly Robin hand delivered with such consideration. Captain! Thanks for remembering the right snorkeling spots we like to revisit. And the painting of the three little birds we purchased as the only souvenir that was worth taking back as a physical piece of treasure. Our only treasures were the demonstration of outstanding and quality service. And a beautiful peaceful surroundings. Ample amenities. No need to rush early morning for the reserved coveted spots at the pool. Or beachside. Decent decent people here. Guests who value what you value. And space for diving into your personal space. Excellence. Over and over again.

    23 years later...

I tend to be brutally honest with my reviews so no resort/hotel is perfect. Sans Souci is no exception. Its been 23 years since we were first here (as a Grand Lido property) and I loved it then and was concerned that I wouldn't love it as much this time. I was wrong. We had a fabulous week. Warning to the mobility challenged... there are a lot of stairs on this property (its built into a hillside for the most part)... if you have a beachfront room its a long hike to the reception/Casanova restaurant. The rooms are ok. Spacious but not overly ostentatious, but I was happy with the space and had no issues. Housekeeping staff were actually amazing. Change of towel twice if not three times a day, mini bar was actually a maxi bar... normal sized bottles of liquor not mini bottles. We were on the beachfront, close to the main pool and pool bar and close to two restaurants that serve breakfast and lunch. The food here was AMAZING, particularly at the Casanova restaurant. Every staff member was helpful I note Ne Ne, Mick Hugh and Nicoy here. They went beyond what was necessary to make you happy. The lobby staff were also wonderful... having this superior level of service really made the vacation. EVERYBODY on the staff went out of their way to enhance your stay. Congratulations to Couples for what was an absolutely memorable vacation we'll be back. The one gripe.. the shower only wanted to deliver lukewarm water.

    Couples Sans Souci & golf

This was our first time at a couples resort and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The AU NATUREL beach wasn’t something we were tempted to try but the rest of the resort was exactly as we had wished, albeit the main beach and swimming area could have been slightly bigger. We were allocated a room in block E and whilst we had paid for a garden view, rooms in block E appear to have the larger balconies (two chairs, table, bed and a chaise lounge style sofa) and we could see the sea, albeit there were a few trees between us and the ocean. We were really pleased with our accommodation, with the room being well equipped and light, the bathroom had a large shower and twin basins, all very nicely decorated and cleaned daily by Sheryl to a very high standard. There’s a very good choice of food and I downloaded the app which enabled us to book tables at the Casanova and Belle Vista on several occasions and also get room service, which we enjoyed on a couple of occasions, having dinner on our balcony which combined with the personalised mini bars works very well. We didn’t indulge too much in the evening entertainment but that which we experienced was alright. One reason for choosing this resort was the golf and we played six times. The course is nice, it isn’t the best I’ve played but a good holiday course with some challenging holes, all of which have fairly small greens. Whilst the green fees are included in the cost of the hotel, you’re charge $50 (US) per a person, per round for a buggy and caddy, which is compulsory and booking as a two ball gets you one buggy and one caddy for $100. Our caddy was Jason who was great, didn’t try to select my clubs, just pointed us in the right direction and helped reading putts, which is all I require for a holiday caddy. One thing to note, when arranging your golf there’s no option to select a tee time, you just book golf and have to be at reception by 8am for 8:15 collection (one tip: breakfast in the restaurant isn’t served till 7:30 but you can have it delivered to your room from 6:30) and the planned pick up time is 1:30 but you could have finished golf by 12 and the course isn’t part of your all inclusive package, so any drinks and food is payable, though the bus drivers always tried their best to collect us earlier and normally did. We took advantage of the free trip to Dunns River Falls and paid for a raft trip, all of which we enjoyed. The hotel is roughly two hours from the airport which is slightly longer than we’d like but it’s via the coast road, so there’s some nice scenery. All in all, a very enjoyable holiday.

    Wonderful winter holiday

Very well run resort with a lovely nude section. It was like going on a cruise ship with no ship, but good entertainment and lovely warm weather. The food was excellent. There was the main restaurant plus two premium restaurants and a lunch buffet at the nude section, all inclusive. The nude beach had good shade and plenty of beach lounges that were clean and well maintained. The beach was at the outfall of a river and was quite rocky. Beach shoes are needed on this beach. The main beach is sandy. There were three or four pools with hot tubs, and lots of little surprise areas. We plan to go back.
