    Not satisfied, don’t recommend it

Not at all satisfied with my stay. Booked room for a king bed, they gave us 2 queen beds, the pillows were so uncomfortable. And I’m not even a picky person. Like why are they so high. They also charged us twice for the night??? So unprofessional. Trying to call the billing department for the refund of the double charge is a struggle.

DIRTIEST/MOST UNUSER FRINDLY HOTEL I HAVE EVER STAYED AT

We have stayed at Circus Circus many times in the past, and this will most definitely be OUR LAST TIME!!!!!! The check in was a joke, the staff member kept yelling at everyone to use the KOSK...tried to tell her it was a called a kiosk, but my wife stopped me. There were no directions on using the KOSK, but after time we figured it out. There was ZERO warning that we would 1) need the keys to enter the building from the parking garage and 2) that we would need to sue them on the elevator. Our room was dirty, the towels and sheets had stains on them and the vent in the bathroom was coated in dust. I am a recovering cancer patient, and this was the dirtiest room I have ever rented. We will NOT ever stay there again. The restaurants were only open at specific times and my wife, being diabetic needs to eat at regular times. Everything was extremely overpriced, except for the Yogurt Beach which was a joy to visit. The self checkout on TV did not work mat 7:00 am, so we dropped our keys off and simply left. We cut our visit short by one full day due to the horrible conditions and will NEVER GO BACK!!!!!

    Cheap but not "Cheap"

I've been here a few times when traveling through Reno, as it was the cheapest option in the "Row" of the 3 megaresorts downtown. Given that all 3 resorts are seamlessly connected, you'll be spending alot of the time between all 3. Though I will just try to review Circus Circus on its own merits. Much like it's counterpart in Vegas it caters to families with more low price quick service restaurants and its famous Midway carnival. Unlike its Vegas counterpart, I don't feel like I'm going to contract a venereal disease by being in the place. The family focused ares, such as the Midway and restaurants all felt clean an well updated. Machines that where out of order on the midway one night would be serviced by technicians the next morning. However, other areas of the the hotel, such as the casino floor and skywalk to thr Sky Tower feel dated and forgotten. It doesn't help those who stay in the sky tower as they have no choice but to walk the long skywalk to thier rooms, as the tram that connects the tower to the rest of the complex is non operational for the foreseeable future. On the topic of the hotel portion of the property, on most of my recent stays I had stayed in said Sky Tower. Rooms in that tower can be considered fine. A recent renovation make the room portions of the room feel clean and modern, although the bathrooms seemed to not have received the renovation treatment. Even with that being said, the rooms are on par with something you'd find In a Best Western or Hampton. Whether that's a good or bad thing is up to you. You still have to deal with that long walk form the tower to the resort areas, but it's hard to expect more from the cheapest resort downtown. My most recent stay however was difficult. Despite paying for a standard room, when I checked in I was given a much more fancy room in the elusive Casino Tower. A very small set of rooms located right above the casino floor and apparently only reserved for high roolers (which I definitely am not). How I received this upgrade is unknown, as I was not notified of the upgrade nor did I accidentally book the deluxe room (as on thief website you can't even book rooms in the casino tower). I guess I'll just chalk it up to luck. Whilst the rooms in the Casino tower are much more grand than the standard rooms, with large rooms, walk in showers, and soaker tubs. They did not receive the same renovations that the other rooks received making it feel more dated. However it did feel nice to get the high roller treatment for the standard price. Overall: Circus Circus Reno is the cheapest of the big 3 resorts downtown and it definitely shows, feeling more rough around the edges than the Silver Legacy and Eldorado, and if you wanted a more luxury experience, you're better off paying a little extra for those hotels. But if you still want the resort experience, but wanted to save a buck, you aren't going wrong with this hotel.
