The hotel was amazing being around such friendly staff and all the wildlife was lovely the areas were clean. Quetzabel at the breakfast and lunch was amazing aways happy and ready to help. The bed is really soft but that a preference. Gret place to stay and would come back again. The food was nice especally the Italian and steakhouse . We had a bit of a wait in the Asian. The entertainment was good in the international restaurant. The entertainment team gave been the best I have seen for a long time done well to keep all the people engaged. Evening entertainment was good 👍. Went on till 2am . Room service 25 hours was a bonus. We will be retuning with the 50 factor as the sun was decieving and got burnt when it was raining and cloudy . Nice touch with umbrellas in the room 👌

Really excellent hotel
I can strongly recommend this hotel. It's a relatively small hotel, less than 300 rooms which is way smaller than the other hotels we saw on pick up / drop off as part of a couple of day trips we took whilst in Mexico The rooms are great and the 4 restaurants for evening meals are easily the best I've ever eaten at in an all inclusive resort. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. I loved the "jungle" feel of the walkway from reception, past the accomation blocks and down to the pool, particularly all the wildlife...coatis, agoutis, iguanas, spider monkeys, etc Not so good is breakfast. The food is great but organisation not so much. The first couple of days we were there the queues to get a table were long...not because there were no tables, there were plenty, but because the tables were not being cleared and made ready for the next guests. That did improve but getting a cup of tea at breakfast was a real pain on too many days. Unfortunately it involves the coffee server going into the kitchen to get a pot of tea made (they also have to do this for any speciality coffees ordered). This seems to take an age and also stops the coffee being served whilst the server attends to it. It just doesn't work Also not good was the reservation of pool beds...if your towel wasn't down by 7:30-8:00am on most days you could forget getting a bed that day. Seems daft in that there is plenty of space for more beds and they do seem to have more beds so no idea why these aren't setup for use However, these are minor complaints, the hotel is lovely, the staff are great and the food is really good. I would hapily come back here if I visit Mexico again

THE BEST!
The best all inclusive resort we have ever stayed!!! This resort is surrounded by a jungle and many many wildlife. We saw monkeys, coatis, raccoons. It’s not overcrowded and the best part is the FOOD!! The food is just incredible amazing!!! We know that all inclusive resorts usually don’t have the best food but this resort has the best! Breakfast and lunch is buffet and for dinner you have to make a reservation at one of the 5 restaurants. Every restaurant is just sooooo good!! The STAFF!! We LOVED the staff at the resort. So friendly, professional, paying attention to little details. We felt so welcomed in this resort. The whole resort is so clean!! You see staff cleaning non stop at every corner. It’s so recommended by us!! Don’t forget to tip the Staff and especially the hardworking cleaning service 🙂

Warm welcome
The room was very clean and comfortable, and the beach was so nice, we could fall asleep on one of the chairs. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I love seeing all the cute animals all around the resort and hearing birds I have never heard before.

Great all inclusive in Maya Riviera
We had an issue with our first room and the front desk were more than accommodating. They got us moved into a different room straight away and it was a complimentary upgrade. Great service. Quetzabel at La Palapa is lovely, really great, warm and funny - she is a credit to the hotel!
