Excellent location, you feel like you are in a jungle. The à la carte restaurants are delicious. Our favourite was the asian we went twice. I loved the juice bar by the beach. The rooms are well maintained we were in 4012. The public bathrooms are always clean. The staff friendly and helpful. Don’t hesitate just book. And the Mezcal passion fruit drink is a must try!

Incredible holiday
This is an amazing hotel, and I would highly recommend it! The staff throughout are wonderfully welcoming and are never seen without a smile, including the housekeeping and grounds staff. I must make special mention of Quetzabel in La Palapa as her smiling face, along with her care and attention to detail each morning made my day. The pool area and the beach are really close together, so you can alternate between the two if you wish after washing the sand off! The beach itself is beautiful, and the guys down there worked hard every morning to clear as much of the seaweed as they could. The sea was lovely and warm, though the waves could be a little firm! The pool and swim-up bar were generally quite serene as most of the daytime entertainment took place at one end and you weren’t forced to join in if that’s not your thing. Diego and Tita were the standouts at the evening entertainment for me, though the entire crew were fantastic. Every member of the bar staff was equally dedicated and happy to serve any drink you ask for – even my special mix of Kahlúa, Vodka and Expresso! My room was kept perfectly throughout the stay (though I’m not untidy anyway!) and towels and the minibar were always kept stocked by the wonderful Adela. All in all, the very best holiday I have ever had – an outstanding hotel and I met some truly wonderful new friends whilst I was there! I look forward to seeing you again.

Overall
Food was delicious and came out hot and fresh. Service was quick and the servers were attentive and polite. Marcelino, Juan, Marcos at Sorento were great. Staff were friendly and helpful. The pool was clean and everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. Highly recommend to anyone.

Great massage service
Yaraset was amazing, professional, best massage I've had in years. Great services offered relaxing and great price definitely would recommend. Our stay at the catalonia tulum has been wonderful will definitely return. Facilities were clean, and serene 5 *

Good getaway
Really good experience From the reception all the way to the cleaners our stay here for 8 nights was amazing Special thanks to charlie and mateo the cleaner. Everything was good even the food and tha restraints on site . Only regret I have is we didn't stay for longer
