Presently at Catalonia Royal Bavaro Been travelling for 40 years all over the Caribbean never have I been at a beach where they don’t clean the seaweed been here 3 days seems it’s been several weeks they haven’t clean up Impossible to go into the water or walk the beach Disaster and when you ask the hotel when they will clean up they have no answer Awful DISASTER if your going to enjoy the beach please don’t go This vacation keeps on getting worst No where was it mentioned that they were gonna renovate the pool and close down several restaurants You pay a privilege package you get none of the amenities Book a restaurant last night from there concierge. Went there it was closed so they have no idea what’s going on Ask to go to another restaurant they rudely said no you have to go to the buffet If your looking for quality services and a nice hotel please don’t get fooled with what they are advertising right now this is so Bad

So its is first time we are here and everything is very good and we liked so much. Cleaning maids are good and quality is high. It example Yessel employer ant house No 38. The Mojit’os bar master’s Carlos and Ashley are amazing 😀. The pool is good, clean. Beach in the morning are wonderful.. Así que es la primera vez que estamos aquí y todo es muy bueno y nos gustó mucho. Las empleadas de limpieza son buenas y la calidad es alta y maravillosa. Por ejemplo, Yissel, empleadora de la casa de hormigas No 38. . Los maestros del bar de mojitos, Carlos y Ashley, son increíbles 😀. La piscina es buena, limpia. La playa por la mañana es maravillosa.

Smiles from start to finish
We arrived on 5th Sept and stayed for 14 nights. From start to finish, we couldn’t fault anything and we had the best time! All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Special mention to Felix in the restaurant, Daniel in the Piano bar and Ashley at the pool bar who all went above and beyond for us. The room was lovely and very clean. House keeping came twice a day. The bed was so comfy and my head melted into the pillows, so we both slept very well. The overall maintenance of the hotel was lovely, everything was clean and tidy and well presented. The food was lovely, lots of different selections which was good. We liked that we could use the buffet restaurant at the hotel next door, which was huge! Tip for other guests… we did tend to go to when the restaurant first opened as it does get busy at peek times, especially in the evening between 8-8.30. The beach was lovely and very well kept. Plenty of sun loungers, shade from the palm trees in areas and man made umbrellas too. Whilst there was quite a lot of seaweed, the hotel staff were raking and taking away the sea weed on a daily basis. We spent most of our time at the pool. Large loungers available which are very comfortable, and plenty of other sun loungers. The swim up bar was great and Ashley always remembered what we liked to drink! One small thought is that there could be a few more umbrellas around the pool area next to the loungers. We would 100% recommend this hotel. We are baffled at some of the negative reviews as our experience was perfect from start to finish! Thank you very much for having us!

The best
This resort is awesome! Adelanny went the extra mile and took such good care of us! I will definitely be back! Las habitaciones nos encantaron pero adelanny es la mejor de verdad si visitan la recomiendo mucho la mejor canarera que e conocido

Sep 20, 2024Not how I wanted our anniversary to start
Really like the hotel and staff, and staying in Villa 46, which is lovely, but today is our 10th wedding anniversary and what a terrible start to the day....water has been flowing all night some where in the ceiling and waiting for someone to come have a look and hopefully fix the problem. 2 more days then home hopefully this wont ruin our otherwise lovely stay.
