A few too many cons outweigh the amazing service and food
I’ll start with the negatives so you can prepare yourselves. Not even soft drinks other than breakfast time drinks available until 11am. Once you have left the breakfast buffet you will have to buy from the shop when that opens at 9.30am or wait. By the Saturday the bar for a soft drink was a half an hour queue!! One person serving with another standing watching and chatting. I get the word slow down and manyana but half an hour for a small plastic cup of Coke!! Sports bar absolutely disgustingly dirty. Two men serving, not busy (no more than 6 people in the bar) all bar surfaces covered in old drinks. Walls are paper thin so your neighbours even going to the toilet can be heard! Group of 10 lads arrived on the Friday afternoon and turned their stereo on full blast around the pool. Then proceeded to get louder and louder as they drank. They took over the pool bar making it impossible to even get to it for a drink. The peaceful relaxing holiday was literally ruined by loud music and screaming and shouting. This actually ruined the last three days of our relaxing holiday as it did for many of the couples and families around the pool area. Which is sad. Rooms are shabby and in need of an update. Now the positives Food is not bad at all. With good selection and variety. The staff are absolutely amazing and very quick, clean and friendly. Antonio in restaurant is brilliant. Smiley and happy regardless of how long his shift has been. Snack restaurant is good and offers a variety if you fancy something different. The Italian and mexican restaurants are good and the food is very good but a refill of drinks during the meal is very slow if offered. The burger restaurant is worth avoiding as small portions and cold chips. Didn’t enjoy the meal there and had to go into the buffet afterwards to eat properly. Walk into the little marina area and find Jesse’s Ice cream parlour. Absolutely amazing and worth a daily visit. He is knowledgeable and the ice creams are amazing!! Would I go back to Mexico, yes. Would I stay here, sadly not again.

A Wonderful Holiday
My partner and I have just returned from a 2 week holiday at this hotel. We went all inclusive which is not something I have ever done before. Now I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised. There was a great choice of food and drink including a couple of buffet style restaurants, but also 4 ‘a la cart’ restaurants-a Mexican, an Italian, a Steak House and a Japanese. All the staff working at this hotel were congenial, polite and genuine. ALL of them work very hard and it was appreciated by us. They are a credit to their employer. This applies to staff in restaurants, the staff who clean the rooms, the bar staff and reception staff and anyone l have omitted to mention. Our room was spacious and clean with a lovely view and the grounds of the hotel and beach are immaculate. All in all, it’s beautiful. I have stayed in many hotels and there are some I would go back to and others that I would not. This hotel is definitely one that is worth more than one visit. Also, we felt it was good value for money. We had a brilliant time and were sad to leave. Loved it.

HORRIBLE PLACE
Terrible place to stay - very outdated and paying the privileged price is NOT worth it. You get a light purple wrist band and a stripped towel. No perks. Making reservations at this place impossible-front desk was rude and didn’t help us make reservations.

Friendly staff, pretty landscaping
The staff were all friendly. Definitely take water shoes to get into the ocean. They had men working on the beach and it did get a little easier to get into the ocean in two spots. The breakfast buffet and specialty dinning was good. Men have to wear sleeve shirts at any of the restaurants for dinner not just for the specialty dining.
