*Important Information for our guests*
The Dominican Republic imposes various restrictions each year for Easter. The restrictions usually begin the Thursday prior to Good Friday, and run a few days past Easter Sunday. The following regulations may be enforced:
*Motorized and non-motorized watersports may be banned
*Alcohol consumption may be restricted (most resorts obtain a special permit which enables them to serve alcohol to non-native persons during the ban)
*Music may be limited or silenced
These rules are designed for the safety of everyone, as beaches get extremely busy during this period.

This resort was amazing. The price was good. The service was wonderful. The specialty restaurants were delicious. The pool was awesome and the beach was absolutely beautiful. I loved that it wasn’t super crowded and provided more of an intimate experience. Reynaldo and Elizabeth C at the Pure Chillout Bar provided excellent service. I would recommend this resort.
Mediocre service and leadership
Well this place might have nice beach but that is it ... customer service and service in general is mediocre.. checked in yesterday . Supposedly privilege deluxe .. they put us in a room where dirty blinds dirty bed sheets .. walls having lots and lots of flies killed smashed on and never cleaned .. ordered room service last night to be delivered over 3 hours later when it was almost midnight.. they canceled the orders by themselves 3 times ad had to Callander Stat over 3 times ... lots of amenities missing in the room and to get had to call 5 or 6 times ... Here we are at the reception to change the room as promised and looks that no one cares .. the employees Carolina and Yoirel.. no sense of customer service. They are just trained to give cold answer but nothing to show sincerity.. another 3 or 4 hours lost to change the room ... I asked almost million times to talk to the manager and to my surprise that huge resistant to talk to managers it's like managers cannot mix with public or they are afraid of coming talking to customers themselves... mediocre leadership.. and guess what I was not the only one waiting to change the room because irmt was dirty... there were almost have of dozen clients in the same time with the ame issues .. come on people. Go fix the problems at the root... all these clients are never going back to that caralonia name resorts
Stayed here for 10 days and loved every second! There’s always something to do. The pool was lovely and never over crowded, the beach was beautiful and also never over crowded. The restaurants were lovely and there’s a wide choice at the buffets. The staff were all friendly, especially Luis Robles at the lobby bar, he was very accommodating and friendly and was always so nice and made the best cocktails! I would definitely return to this resort.
I had a trip to remember it was so magical and all of the staff were amazing, especially Mata de Coco. Francisco The ambiance, the music & especially the beach and amount of greenery made the trip so tropical. Every night they have different super fun events and things to keep you busy throughout the day filled with activities. Overall the trip was amazing and definitely one to remember forever.
Good but wouldn’t return
Beautiful hotel and great staff but I wouldn’t return. Rooms are a bit old but they’re lovely and clean. Food is beautiful and there is plenty of choice. All of the staff are amazing. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming so you feel at home straight away. The service is brilliant. Jose Luis in the Thalassa is the smiliest and loveliest person ever. Deiby, who works behind the Margarita bar on an afternoon, is so sweet, has a lovely friendly smile and makes perfect cocktails. Winslow, who is part of fit exclusive, is the BEST! He is so funny and makes me laugh so much. He makes exercise fun. The entertainment on a day was great but the entertainment on a night time is terrible. The variety show is the worst and a lot of the dancers on the dance shows can’t dance in time with the others. We only enjoyed Mr Catalonia and the beach party. Most of the entertainment team are great. So lovely and friendly. Always said hello and danced with us. I would like to say a massive thank you to Ricki, Alvani, Very, Yonathan and Mildred you are amazing. Manganza is great presenting the shows but outside of the shows he was so miserable and spent all his time on his phone. Didn’t interact with any guests. Be careful of Jose from the entertainment team, he constantly flirted even though he has a girlfriend which made me feel very uncomfortable. This continued even after I told him I didn’t want anything to do with him. Recently called me a miserable b**** because things didn’t go the way he wanted them to go. Overall, rooms are fine, food is beautiful and majority of staff are incredible but I wouldn’t return because of the terrible night time entertainment.
