May 20, 2023Amazing trip at Casa Velas
My husband and I had such a wonderful trip at Casa Velas in April of 2023. The food was excellent and the service was exceptional! We’ve always stayed at Secrets Resorts, so this was our first experience trying another and it could not have been better. We miss our mornings with the incredible staff. They work so hard to make sure you enjoy every moment of your stay. Thank you to Avalos, Carlos, Fatima, Ulises, Miguel, Enrique, Ramon, Alfredo, Jesus, Ana and Sofia. I know I am leaving some out and I apologize because all of you were amazing and worked effortlessly to make such a wonderful, memorable trip. We will be back to see you some day! Thanks you again!

Magnificent !
We just returned home from a very special 12 days at this so special oasis. It was our 2nd stay ( November 2022 ) at Velas, and as wonderful as our 1st time, our visit this time was beyond words. We came ‘home’ to celebrate my birthday, and as soon as we arrived, the warmth and friendliness of the staff was as if we were returning home to be with family.. The entire property remains in beautiful condition and the constant attention to the maintenance is evident.. Our room was beautiful and we had a great view as well as a hot tub on the balcony.. Every meal here or at the Tau Beach Club was excellent and the gracious service with always a smile surpassed our last stay.. The pool is so beautiful and the flowers and serenity is the best.. The staff is exceptional and so warm and welcomed us back as true friends.. My birthday was celebrated by the hotel in several ways and will not be forgotten.. My wife and I have been fortunate in being able to travel extensively, and nowhere that we have visited, can compare to our time at Casa Velas ! We are already planning our next stay for this coming fall. A 5 star + experience thanks to Miguel Dorado General Manager as well as Ana and Sofia in the reception area , Jesus and Alfredo in the restaurant, Ulises and Ramon poolside and our housekeeper Francisca. I know that I have left names out, but everyone is part of the ‘ family ‘ that cares for you during your stay. We already long to be with the friends and family at the Casa, but will have to wait until late October or November.. We will miss everyone !!

Extremely friendly staff!
The staff here are so friendly and attentive. From the moment we walked in until we checked out, we felt right at home! Carlos, Ávalos, and Fátima served us during breakfast and were great! They were definitely there to serve us and made sure we had everything we needed/wanted. Armando and Nolberto drove us to the marina and gave us alot of recommendations as far as what restaurants to eat at. The lobby staff was also great to us. They called places we wanted to visit to ensure they were open and arranged taxi drivers for us. At Tao beach club- Alex, Brenda, Erick, and Miguel were all great! They gave us a farewell dessert during dinner. The rooms are cute and during May, it was very quiet. I can’t wait to come back. Muchas gracias a todos, nosotros estamos agradecidos por ustedes!

Relax reset
Casa Velas is beyond reproach. The perfect relaxing resetting short stay (4 day) vacation. It’s our 2nd time here and travel to PVR BECAUSE of this property. I really don’t know how the staff is able to make every single person feel special at all times. I had to beg the woman at the door to let me open it myself ha! Miguel Brenda and her team (Happy Mothers Day and thanks for the hair tie!) . Literally one morning I forgot to order my peanut butter and my lovely waiter reminded me! I had been there for 2 days. This staff is incredible: To know: 1. It’s a small quiet property - 2 restaurants - shuts down around 10pm. 2. It’s in a beautiful neighborhood - not on the beach. Head to the beach club - a 15 minute walk or a quick ride in the van. Gorgeous beach club 3. Old town PVR is about 20 min away - $10 Uber or cab 4. The marina is a short walk from the hotel! Restaurants - pretty view and part of the year a market on Thursday nights Thank you all!!! Lots of love to you for working so hard to give us a relaxing stay:

Very Relaxing
This was the best relaxing vacation ever for my wife and I, We loved having our patio doors open at night and hear the waves, I asked if they could bring up a couple of Lounge chairs for our patio not expecting they could, we got back that night and low and behold they were there and my wife slept out there for four hours. The all inclusive is the way to go. Food was great and i called room service at four thirty in the morning for coffee and danish rolls and they delivered, What a Awesome place to stay, All the attendants and workers made us feel at home. The weekend gets noisy but come Monday and the rest of the week was quiet and peaceful. I really recommend Club Velas.
