    Great pools, clean, not as bad as some reviews say, some customer service issues.

    We stayed at Caesars Palace for 9 nights at the end of May. As far as Vegas goes, it’s one of my favourite casinos and hotels to walk around. The experience of visiting Caesars for a visit is still great. As a guest staying at the hotel there were some issues as well as some really good bits! When checking in (despite being two couples on the exact same booking) we were told there were no rooms near each other (and given the size of the hotels in Vegas this can be problematic when travelling as a party), that said we were told that if we paid for an upgrade, adjoining rooms would be available. We asked for the price of the upgrade, waited around 5 minutes at reception, only to be told there were none available, however the receptionist then found us rooms we had booked close by to each other, it felt as though this was always an option but with the possible sell of an upgrade the approach of telling us the rooms weren’t available was tried first. Also when checking in there was no information given, e.g. check out times, how to find the pools, where to get food late at night, etc. it’s also generally very difficult to ask anyone at reception a quick question, having to stand in long check in queues rather than there being a separate help desk. Having read reviews on here after booking, I was worried about what the state of the room would be, however (whilst a little tired in terms of some decorating - which is to be expected in a hotel of that size with so many guests passing through) the room was clean and well kept by housekeeping through our entire stay. As many people have said, unless you want charging extortionate prices do not touch the mini fridge or food/drinks/accessories in the room. We actually asked reception to turn off our room charges for the entire stay to make sure nothing could be charged accidentally, as I have heard of people ending up with charges even if items are moved but not used / consumed. We had a lovely view of the pool at strip, from the Julius tower. Outside, the pool areas are amazing, there were always plenty of sun-beds, even when a couple of the smaller pools were closed. The pools are clean and there are livelier and quieter areas. Generally the customer service at Caesars was good, the pool bar staff are friendly as were most others we came across. One significant exception to this was the behaviour of pool security (I believe his name was Cesar). He is rude and self-important. The way he spoke to us and the way we saw him speak to others around the pool was atrocious. I understand that sometimes procedures such as bag checks are in place at pools, however to be spoken to in the way he does is unacceptable, as well as literally raking through my personal items and telling me I couldn’t take alcohol in (despite there being absolutely no alcohol in my bag) simply to justify his actions or somehow prove his point. I called this guy out directly on his attitude at the time but do think Caesars management should have a conversation with him about the way he’s treating guests. One of my major issues with Caesars is the cost of drinks at the pool bars, approx $110 for two frozen machine cocktails and two beers. It really is extortionate. Having been to Vegas multiple times we’re not oblivious to the cost of food and drinks on the strip, but this is the third hotel I’ve stayed in (including MGM and Cosmopolitan) and I’ve never seen prices like it. Lunch at the food court for two was costing around $60 and breakfast in somewhere like Starbucks or the Italian cafe similar. The best place we found to eat in Caesars was Café Americano, the food is wonderful, a lovely shaded outdoor seating area and really nice staff. Whilst pleased to have ticked Caesars off the list, it’ll more than likely be a different hotel for us next time.

    Amazing customer service

    Tangela was amazing!!! She made the check in process very smooth and had great customer service! It was my first time here and she gave us some great tips and suggestions. What a breath of fresh air with her awesome personality! First time visiting but will not be my last time!!!

    I arrived early and tired and Mrs. Tangela brought a smile to my face with her kind words compassion and great customer service. She truly gave me a great experience and I will not forget how she made me feel💕💕💕💕💕. Looking forward to visiting again.

    Terrible bad service

    We stayed at the bellagio for four nights my friend is a diamond card member at both the experience at bellagio was out of this world we then moved on to ceasars palace as we had complimentary stay with both thought we'd have the experience. When we moved to ceasars palace room service was terrible there was a half eaten pizza on top of the fridge from previous guests. There was no body wash or soap left for us in the bathroom the we could hear everything through the night from the windows didn't hear a thing in bellagio. We was woke up at 10 in morning for sink drains to be cleaned. VIP host tried to be contacted several times and still never got back to us we were not told about any perks or allowances for food until we asked two days later so missed out there big time as we did have perks all in all will not be staying here again bellagio was the experience be far

    Caesar's reminds me of the Ali that lost to Spinks..

    It's hard to punch down on such an iconic institution of the modern Las Vegas strip. It would be like reprimanding your grandmother for inappropriate behaviour when, in reality, she's earned the right and done the 10 thousand hours to demand respect. Caesars is a bit like that. In its heyday no doubt the very definition of opulence and style, sophistication with flamboyance at a reassuringly high price point. Today that opulence is jaded around the edges and its once sophisticated appearance replaced by dated decor and not because it is representing a historical period 2000 years ago. We were booked to stay in the Julius Tower. The member of staff at check in informed us straight away that there was an option to upgrade which we thought odd given that we'd jot even seen the room. When we walked into the room it was obvious why..The view out of the window was the wall of an adjacent building no more than 10 feet from ours. Not a great start. The bed was comfortable although the carpets were well worn as was the sofa. The shower was enormous and the water pressure first class. The furniture was scratched and bashed around the edges, as was the bathroom tiling. On first impressions clean but old and in need of a refurb. Just before going to sleep I noticed a reoccurring plumbing noise in the wall nearest my side of the bed. Every thirteen seconds a filling noise would be followed by an 'airlocck' thud. I presumed it would stop but it never did. It was sufficient to keep me awake all night. I decided since I couldn't sleep I would watch TV or go on my phone but the WiFi in our room wasn't working nor was the TV. Perfect. In all fairness I went to reception at 6 a.m. and was told we would be moved to a new room in the Octavius tower as soon as one was available and I was also given a food/ restaurant voucher by way of apology which was a nice way to say sorry for the inconvenience. It took several hours before our new room was available. It was much nicer with a restricted view of the strip. We still had intermittent WiFi issues in our room where the signal would disappear for a few hours which was annoying. Our bed was super comfortable, the corridors were quiet during the night which was reassuring, given the reputation Vegas has for being a 24 hour city. The toilet flush system stopped working in our second room on the first day we moved to the room so we spoke to maintenance who managed to replace the cistern. The toilet seat was loose and slid to the side everyrime you sat on it. All the restaurants we visited in the hotel were excellent in terms of food. In particular Amalfi the Italian restaurant and Cheesecake factory. On both occasions we attended the latter we had to speak to the manager as the mens toilets had no toilet paper in the cubicle and waste towels all over the floor. It was worse than you'd expect toilets at a music festival and not what we associated with Caesar's Palace. So, to summarise, Caesar's Palace has so many amazing features to it but you'd be blind not to notice it is in decline. We have stayed at Bellagio, Cosmopolitan, Vdara etc and Caesar's isn't at their level. Times and tastes change and it looks like Caesar's is basking in glories that have long since past and the concept of updating the rooms is not on the agenda which is a shame as I regard Caesar's Palace as the most iconic hotel on the current strip. I'm not disappointed we booked it but I would 100% stay elsewhere on our next visit.
