The staff were so amazing and ensured we had a phenomenal time. Gabriela and Andres took the time to make us feel special. We were so appreciative of them! We didn't get everything we should have for the package we had and our room was a bit musty, but the staff, food, events, and guests made the experience amazing!

Mar 18, 2025Didn't Leave Us Breathless! Accommodates A Younger Crowd.
When reviewing a property, I highlight its strengths and areas for improvement.t **The Strengths** Lidia, the bartender at the Exhale Club, is fantastic. It's a tiny bar, but she politely accommodated all requests. Luna from UVC was very accommodating and genuinely cared about the members. Alan at the pool bar is terrific. He does a great job dealing with a large crowd and remembers your drink! The bed was comfortable, and the room was clean. The housekeepers did an excellent job. The food, for the most part, was good. The offerings at the French restaurant were delicious and probably our favorite. The staff was attentive and excellent, and the breakfast buffet had a great selection. The woman making omelets was phenomenal. **Needs Improvement:** The beach was disappointing—don’t be fooled by the pictures. While staff tried to clean up the seaweed, their efforts were ultimately futile. Moving the seaweed from one area to another only worsened the smell. I wasn’t sure why they were making a seaweed wall directly in front of the chairs. Additionally, the chairs along the beach were in poor condition, with many missing armrests. The music played at the pool between 1:00 and 5:00 PM was loud and obnoxious, competing with the other pool. Sitting on the beach, you could hear both. It was also frustrating that the pool staff prioritized guests from Secrets, the attached resort, encroaching on the limited space and enjoyment of Breathless guests who had been sitting by the pool for hours. Multiple chairs were added for Secrets guests that clearly did not fit. Secrets also has limited restaurants, so they share with Breathless. There is certainly not enough staff and restaurants to accommodate both resorts. If Secrets can have a quieter pool and crowd, Breathless should be allowed to go over there, too!

Best resort experience I have had!
Excellent service! Restaurants for dinner were exceptionally good! Lunch options had a good variety. Best breakfast in all resorts I have been. Daily afternoon outdoor taco bar was a nice surprise! Espresso martini carts..tequila bar!

Breathtaking
This was our 2nd time, we had an amazing trip! Food and service is why we will keep coming back. I will say we had hiccups with spring breakers (we thought they aren’t allowed there based off their website). There was 2-3 days where they kept running out of our alcohol and mixers because of them and they only restock their bars once a day. After they were gone, we have not one complaint of the entire resort. They really went above and beyond for us. After hearing we had gotten engaged, we were suprised by a nice bottle of champagne and a piece of cake. Also was surprised with a desert on the day of my birthday to my room. I felt so special, and this place will forever hold a special place in my heart. I can’t wait to come back!!

College Spring break with friends.
I can not say enough good things about this resort. It honestly was one of my favorite trips I have ever taken. The resort itself was huge and there was always entertainment availible. I appreciated how many activities this resort put on. Our group was never bored. Staff was extremely accommodating and friendly they would constantly check on us and offer to take pictures, refill drinks and order food. Drinks were always refilled and food was always hot and tasty. Everything was also very very clean, and if we had any issues at all they were fixed almost immediately by staff members. The only down side to this resort is that the location on the beach is not great, the beach is not as pretty as the pictures and there is only one night club that closed at one am every night. Ivan, Eduardo, pascual, Andreas, Manuel, Johan and Josefina were my favorite staff workers.
