We stayed at Breathless Riviera Cancun from January 20–30 and had such an amazing experience. The resort itself is beautiful, clean, and has the perfect mix of relaxation and fun. The vibe is lively without being overwhelming, and there was always something going on if you wanted to join in — but also plenty of space to just unwind. A huge part of what made our trip special was the staff. Fernando at the bar was absolutely incredible — so friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. He remembered our drinks, checked in on us throughout the day, and really made us feel taken care of. You can tell he truly enjoys what he does. Charlie Boy from the beach team was another highlight. He brought such great energy every single day! Whether it was helping with chairs, checking on us, or just making us laugh, he made the beach experience that much better. He’s one of those people who just elevates the whole atmosphere. We also spent time over on the Secrets side, and Daniel at reception at Secrets Riviera Cancun was fantastic. Professional, kind, and very helpful — he made everything smooth and easy for us. It’s always reassuring to deal with someone who’s both efficient and genuinely pleasant. Overall, the service across both properties was outstanding. The food was great, the drinks were consistent and well-made, and the property itself is stunning. We made so many great memories and would absolutely return. Thank you to the amazing staff for making our trip so special! -Alex and Katie

Don't go if you want relaxation. The music booms at the pools, so loud that it carries to the beach where this is all you hear. Our room was decorated beautifully but the air conditioner and phone didn't work well. Freezing room, no hot water, intermittent wifi connectivity. Room was very clean. Restaurants and buffet were average at best. Positives for the omelet and smoothie stations at the buffet. Lots of overcooked or inedible food at some specialty restaurants. The staff at the resort were amazing and honestly, the best part of my trip. They went above and beyond.

Breathless Cancun Rivera Maya/good time
Staff was friendly and engaging. Good variety of food options. Everything was clean. We had no issue with seaweed since they have barrier wall. Staff out earlier to rake and clean hammocks and lounges. Glad we paid for Ocean view swim out room. It was beautiful. The entertainment was fantastic. Loved the music during the day and then it wound down at night.

10 Year Anniversary Vacation
All the staff are extremely friendly and made our experience very fun. Christian at the poolside bar is the best bartender, possibly of all time. Heyder at Bite provided an amazing dining experience. The entertainment team was great, especially Sofia and Angel. The poolside waitstaff made the pool experience incredible, Edwin and Roger were fantastic. All in all a great experience and I will be recommending it to friends and family.

The staff are all wonderful. The rooms are clean and comfortable- we slept very well on the pillows and beds! Its a small resort in size-everything is close together. The food is above average with lots of options- we liked not having to make reservations for the sit down restaurants. Our only complaint would be the noise of the night entertainment outside. No matter where you are in the resort- it is fairly noisy until about 10 pm. But overnight things were very quiet.
- AdvisoryStudent Groups (Spring Breakers) are not permitted at Hotel. A student group consist of those that travel without parent supervision or a responsible adult in each room. This could refer to but not limited to high school students or college students booking multiple rooms. The hotel reserves the right to deny lodging to any reservations of this type.
