DONT BOOK THE BREATHLESS CANCUN SOUL. THE STAFF IS NOT LIKE OTHER AMR/HYATT RESORTS
DO NOT BOOK HERE!! Where to begin. We are 22 and graduating from College soon, so this was our graduation trip. We are responsible girls and like to have some drinks and not too much partying, but that part wasnt so bad except that they make you put ice in all of the drinks and even when ordering shots they put ice in them. We found the drinks to be very watered down. ALSO.... do not go to this resort if you are in your 20's. They discriminate and you are treated like second class citizens if you are young. They either think you shouldn't be able to afford such a place or that you will make a fool of yourself and drink too much. We did neither of those things. THE BIGGEST PROBLEM... I had come in from the pool with a coffee and my friends were behind me. The cleaning person had just left the room and mopped. I slipped, fell and was bleeding. I didnt think much of it and cleaned myself up because Im young, but the real trouble came when we decided to call down and let them know that the white desk chair had been spilled on. it had a spill the size of the palm of my hand. They immediately presented us with a bill for 200 for cleaning the chair even though my mother (UVC preferred member) and the one who had booked five rooms at this resort, was on the phone with management and the Xhale club for two hours trying to let them know just how ridiculous this charge was. She told them that Hyatt does not charge for a stain on a chair and especially since I had slipped and they seemed more concerned about their chair than my sprained ankle. I was then told I hadnt reported the sprain in time. Well, I reported it two hours after it happened. THEY WOULDNT LET US LEAVE THE RESORT THE NEXT DAY UNTIL THE 200 WAS PAID FOR THE STAIN. I ask you... how many hotels charge for a palm sized accidental coffee stain. I feel taken advantage of due to my age and it made my friends tell their friends and parents and they lost a lot of future business from us. My mom was unable to get them to budge even though we are preferred UVC members and my friends and i were very respectful and had tried to explain our situation. Moral of the story... DO NOT STAY HERE UNLESS YOU CARE ABOUT BEING CHARGED IF YOU SHOULD ACCIDENTALLY SPILL SOMETHING OR ANYTHING ELSE SHOULD HAPPEN.
They changed my mind about resorts! IN A GREAT WAY!
AMAZING! AMAZING! AMAZING! Take it from someone who normally doesn't even like resort vacations, and I ended up absolutely falling in love! From the luxurious, modern mininalistic decor, the cleanliness and the absolutely wonderful staff members! My mother, sister and I stayed there tor 4 nights and wished we has stayed slightly longer. The entire resort is very well built and designed with the perfect taste and touch of luxury. The suite was extremely clean and well maintained, very comfortable and soothing and spacious! The service anywhere in the resort was simply incredible, forgot the names but they were all so sweet, highly professional and kind! The beach is beautiful, well maintained and very clean, quiet mornint walks felt like heaven. Our absolute favorite part was the rooftop infinity pool, but do keep in mind that it is solely exclusive to Xhale Club members only so ensure to book a Xhale Club room to have access, it's not to miss, I could've stayed there forever, impeccable breathtaking views. The only area of improvements I would suggest was the food, seeing how high end the resort was, felt like the food didn't match. The breakfast buffet has great variety however didn't always feel fresh unfortunately, the french restaurant was to avoid. Our absolutely favorite restaurant was the Pan-Asian one on the rooftop, again, excellent vibe and views and the food there was great so we ended up dining there two nights in a row. The mid-level infinity pool bar also has a grill-bar that was decent, the tacos and cheeseburgers there were great. So you overall kind of have to pick and choose! But I sure hope that they'll improve the other restaurants and morning buffet eventually. Other than that, I really can't complain. Absolutely enjoyed our experience and look forward to returning! Another fantastic time at Breathless Soul. In just over one year since its grand opening, Breathless Soul really has nailed it. A great combination of a party atmosphere, quiet relation spots, and everything in between make for a great getaway. Topped off by great food and theme nights and a fantastic staff that go our of their way to please you, it is a fantastic experience. The resort grounds are impeccably manicured and spotless! The attention to detail everywhere is noticed. Housekeeping was perfect freshening up our suite each morning, and providing turndown service every evening, minibar was always fully sticked, and the view is magnificent. Breathless Soul is conveniently located in the hotel zone, close to clubs, restaurants, and excursions should you wish to explore outside of the resort. The resort has created a fantastic above expectations experience because of the hard work and creativity of the entire dedicated staff! Special shoutouts go to Omar and his entire Xhale Club team, the Xhale Club pool staff of Hermilo, Jessica, Mauri, Benjamin, Hugo, and Katherine, Spumante Manager Julio who always surprises us with a special dinner course, Picante Manager Eliud who helped me pick the perfect meal combination, Sergio serving us breakfast at Silk City and lunch at Fishnets, Sommelier Hugo picking the perfect wines, food and beverage Manager Francisco, E-team leader Daniel and his staff of Hugo, Cristina, Katherine, Polete, and Erick, Fishnets server Alejandro, Chef Homa treating us so very special words can’t describe, Chef Francisco, pastry Chef Emmanuel, Gabriella at the Nook, bartender Miguel in the Xhale Club, and so many more. You all have found a great rhythm and know how to work together to give guests an optimal experience! Your hard work does not go unnoticed. Thank you all! We are already looking forward to our next trip.
Salma is the best!! Love this resort!!!
What totally made our stay was Salma at the concierge desk!! She made us feel so at home, and was incredibly knowledgeable, warm and helpful!! We will recommend this resort to everyone we know, and be back again just because of her. I have never felt so appreciated by a staff member at any hotel like with her, and the resort and room and activities she helped us with were just incredible. LOVE!!!
Thanks to the staff at breathless especially Polet and Fernanda for giving us great information, entertaining us, helping us when we needed assistance and making us feel welcome. I recommend Soul to anyone going to Cancun looking for an all inclusive experience.
