Mar 04, 2026We enjoyed the atmosphere, attentive staff and the food was very good.
We spent 11 days at this resort and it is lovely, clean and the food and restaurants are exceptional. We enjoyed the beach and the shallow wading in crystal clear water! It also has front door access to a paved walking and cycling trail into town. But their best feature is the wonderful, engaging staff! We weren’t able to get everyone’s name but there were standouts to be sure. At fishnets restaurant we were served and taken care of by our waiter Angel Sanchez, hostess Andrea and Irwin the sommelier. They were very personable and remembered us which is nice. At the bar, barefoot grill and on the beach we were pampered by Alejandro, Rocio, Oscar and Burrios with special mention of Mercedes. She spent time with us and we had lots of questions for her about Cancun. She was a very good ambassador for the resort! Every morning we were treated to some light Spanish tutoring and tremendously happy and positive interactions with the hostess’s at Spoon, Sarahi, Ingrid and Nancy.

Book it!
Our stay at Breathless Cancun Soul was great! The resort is smaller and easy to navigate. The food was fantastic! We didn’t need reservations or have long waits for the restaurants. The beach was the best one around (no seaweed). The beach did get crowded on the weekends with I assume the public, including kids. We prefer the pools which were perfect! The resort is clean and well kept. We stayed in a lagoon room and could hear the street a little at night but it was not too loud for us. It was definitely quieter than rooms at Breathless Riveria Maya. I am very pleased with our stay and would recommend! Probably the best overall experience I’ve had at an all inclusive resort.

Breathless Soul didn't disappoint
Very clean place with several options, no matter what you're looking for as a vibe. We spent time at both roof top pools and enjoyed both depending on what we wanted to enjoy those days. The beach was very nice as the seaweed was clear in front of the hotel so the water was clear. Just an all around great experience. We will go back I'm sure.

Home a week and I want to return.
I visited in February 2026 with my adult niece. Neither of us had ever been to Mexico and we made a perfect choice with this resort. There’s so many different levels of energy. There’s something for everyone. I’m in my 50s. She’s in her 20s and we had so many things to participate in that made us both happy. The silent disco is an absolute blast. The food and service were amazing. The Entertainment team is spectacular. The best I’ve seen actually. Daniel, Alex, Kevin and Emir were everywhere you looked and working so hard. We participated in cycling, yoga, aqua aerobics, trivia and more. We used amstar for a catamaran to snorkel and go to Isles Mujeras for a few hours. I would highly recommend that excursion. You can sign up in the lobby but we found the stand near the energy pool to be more convenient and less busy. Coco cafe was a highlight. We stopped at least once every day. The beach is public and I wasn’t sure how that would go, but it was not a problem at all. Yes, you see a couple of children/ families here and there but when you’re on your beach chair, staring out into the ocean…it sure didn’t bother me. The ocean is very swimmable and you can go out to chest height before the sea grass starts. Our server at Coquette was Melinda and we enjoyed her so much. It was busy in there but she didn’t make us feel rushed at all. I would recommend this resort and hope to return soon. I live Midwest so getting here isn’t extremely easy- but boy was it worth it.
