2 star at best with serious issues.
2 star resort. This is coming from someone who has been to CUBA many times.. I was excited to check out a what it claims to be “5 star” Mexican resort as I’ve heard it’s on a whole other level. Well.. I’ve been to better 3 star Cuban resorts.. so if you want to have a 2 star experience.. go here. Food is salty and repetitive, long walks to get anywhere on this resort, they hound you for timeshare nonsense even if you’ve said no 10 times. Our room smelt terribly of mould. Black mould also in the ceilings of bathrooms and main areas. Customer service was difficult as half didn’t know English. AC went in the room, keys didn’t work multiple times in times it was raining and it was a 10 minute walk to the lobby. Room was falling apart..

Not a 5 stars hotel!
We had a bad experience in this hotel, first of all they just had one person doing the check in, we stay at the line for 20-30 minutes. Then in the room, the bathroom light didn't work, they changed us to another room, the mini bar didn't have nothing, after two calls to room service they brought water, soda and beers. The food is not terrible but almost every time is the same. Every single thing in this hotel is far away, you need to take a golf car for moving, they said you can take the car every 5 minutes, that's a lie. The day we left, we had to walk with the bags, a baby and stroller because even though we called the reception they never showed up.

Nice
I would like to share my experience about that hotel! The hotel is older but not bad, our room 1434 was always nice and clean, many thanks to the person who took care of it! A terrible smell comes from outside around the Tulum 1 building, I think it's stagnant water from those swamps around the building! The food is ok, we are not spoiled so we always found something we like, I'm a bit disappointed with the fruit because it tastes the same as here from the Superstore, you would expect tropical fruit to taste much better and sweeter! The beach is not good for swimming because the water is very cloudy and there weren't enough sunbeds on the beach, there isn't much shade, if you don't come early there won't be any more places because people probably leave their towels overnight! The only thing I really don't like is that when you arrive, everyone rushes to carry your suitcases to give you a favor, and when you leave they don't care about you at all!!! Mexico is beautiful and we had a great time, but I don't think we will go back, I think their prices are too high for excursions and buying souvenirs, generally too overpriced for everything!!
