The best trip at an all-inclusive!
The most amazing trip with the best views and especially the best people!!! We were happy to be served by Francisco, Peter, Marianny who made our experience 10x better. Food is great, a lot of selections and many activities every day that were made pleasant by people like Jennifer and Michel. Room is nice and service is impeccable. We did excursions like the ATV outing to playa de Rincon, monkeyland with zipline and the Limon waterfall which is breathtaking and honestly a must-do!!! Please feed the stray dogs they are the sweetest and well-behaved. 100% recommended for everyone especially couples.

Saved by the food
The only good thing was the food. We were surprised when we saw that there was only one buffet-restaurant for all meals. Food was good, a lot of different dishes, International and local cuisine. The a la carte restaurants were empty but not included, they gave us only one free reservation and at the end it was better this way because the main restaurant was very good. Rooms were ok but after an almost one hour delay at our checkin we saw that we had no phone working in the room nor the tv control. It finally took them two days to change the batteries of the tv control, the phone was never repaired so no room service for us. Alcohol was pretty bad quality and tasted bad. After 6pm there’s only one bar working for the whole hotel so imagine the time you need to wait in order to get served a disaster most of the times. A lot of big groups ordering 10 to 20 drinks at a time. They didn’t even have enough glasses most of the times. The big pool was ok but always full and no possibility for chairs or shadow. Hotel is full of this kind of people who reserve chairs with towels and never shop up. Not the hotel’s fault but says a lot about the kind of people who go to this hotel. Never choose the cheapest. Shops were extremely expensive and wanted to charge 20% more for card payments. As if you would take cash to an all inclusive hotel. Staff would comment that they were understaffed and we could tell. After complaining during days about the phone they left a cheese platter which had been waiting for us for several hours out of the fridge and with no protection. Just inedible. As mentioned at the beginning the food saved our stay. Would never repeat!

Sad news
This was another amazing vacation for us in BP Luxury Samana! Our fourth time visit. Great service, great food, the buffet overlooking the sea, beautiful view!... But I heard the news that after renovation hotel will provide only Bed & Breakfast, and there is no city close by, hotel is located in the middle of nowhere, so guests should pay extra money for their meal plan, I eat very little, there is nothing to pay for. Not sure about if vacation packages would be available - flight, transfer etc. Probably, it was our last time in this beautiful resort...Too sad :(((

A Trip down Luxury Lane
Hello, from January 7-14/23 my wife and I (Barry & Cathy) had the pleasure of staying at Bahia Princepe Luxary Samana (our first visit there but not our first visit to a Luxury Bahia Principe). The room we book was an ocean view and was it ever an ocean view and a spectacular one in deed. The rooms were cleaned daily and turn downs everynight (Thank You). Fridge stocked well everyday. The food was amazing just like the service. Don Pablo, Bella Italia and Las Olas all were teriffic (Don Pablo was my favorite). The staff went out of there way for us. We never waited for a beverage for over a minute when seated for a meal. They were well trained at their professions and wanted you to be happy. The beach was spectacular with large rolling waves and the pool was very nice, all though we never layed there for one minute (LOL). We are beach people. There is a boat that takes you to another beach where lots of tourists, guests and locals go. It was on an island where Bahia Principe Luxury Cayo Levantado is. There was entainment at the beach every morning as as well at the pool. Never seen the entertainment at the pool but heard them having fun. The rolling waves at the beach had a very calming effect on you. Reception was great, loby bar was spectacular. Every night there was first class entertainment and alot of people working there closed out the night with the Bahia Principe song. The manager was there every night but one for the closing of the nights entainment. He had his finger on the pulse of the resort and its guests. The resort has less than 150 rooms and very well staffed. This is a place where I felt very pampered. We will be back for sure. A great big "Thank You" to everyone. See you soon.

Wonderful!!
We stayed at the Bahia Principe Luxury Samana March 11-18. Here is our feedback There are some potential “negatives” about this resort, although they were not issues for us (except perhaps the last one) 1) Resort is a small boutique 140 room resort, if you are looking for nightlife and party atmosphere, go elsewhere 2) The beach is rather small and little washed out, but nonetheless very accommodating and private 3) The resort has a lot of stairs, there are elevators in certain areas but be advised that you may need to use your legs! That’s good since the food and drinks are so excellent you need to burn off calories 4) The road is close to the resort, depending where you are you can sometimes hear the noise. Thankfully the rooms have soundproof doors that work well to hide the noise 5) There is nowhere to walk outside the resort, road is not safe to walk As for the positive, there are so many to list I don’t know where to starts 1) The Food – So EXCELLENT, really (like really!) good, at both buffet and “a la carte” restaurants. They are all really good, and great attention to service by staff. I loved the option of pre-booking all our restaurants 5 days before our arrival, very nice 2) The views are amazing, from every location, all you see is the sea, absolutely stunning. Our favorite was the view at breakfast and lunch from the buffet, we even saw whales swimming in the bay in front of the resort 3) The drinks and bar service are superb, we enjoyed the “Drink of the day” every day. They always use fresh ingredients (fruits etc) and top shelf spirits for mixing. So good!!! 4) All the staff are so nice, I can’t compliment them all personally here, but special shout-out to Dario (Mamajuana!) and Rosa at lobby bar, Ingrid was our favorite server, Daurelin at front desk was always smiling, and Leandro for his Yoga/Pilates/Workouts. Really amazing people 5) Free Day-trip to Cayo Leventado was really pleasurable, beach there is amazing (but public) 6) Rooms are nice and comfortable, we paid for Junior Suite upgrade and honestly, I think the standard Balcony Room would be great 7) The resort is so small that you get to know all the guests, which was very nice. Met some very nice people from Canada, France and Germany. Adults-only is also nice! We definitely recommend this resort for those looking for a peaceful, relaxing and intimate holiday with great food, good drinks and panoramic views.
