Not luxury. Not worth the $
Not a luxury hotel. Save your money and stay at the Grand which is attached and share a pool and beach. Only beer available is Red Stile on tap. $5 US for all other beer options. They run out of brand name alcohol daily . Says unlimited a la carte. Good luck getting even 2-3 nights booked. Buffet had better food anyways . They say there is a quiet pool, that’s laughable. The poolside DJ cranked it loud at all times and the entertainment workers were relentless trying to get you to participate in stupid pool games. The rooms are dated and elevators were always breaking down. Luxury rooms literally back onto a highway with loud diesel trucks running 24/7. They say stay at Luxury and you can also use Grand. The sports bar and nightly entertainment was at the Grand. The Luxury is not its own resort. Finally, I gave a review via their app 2/5. They complimented me a bottle of rum to the room and called trying to get me to change my review. Don’t believe the google reviews. I love Jamaica, I like their beach but don’t pay extra for the luxury hotel. It is an older version of the Grand. The luxury is also a timeshare.

Save your money and go somewhere else
This place isn't luxury! First it's very dated and in much need of a renovation. We stayed in the adults only and as soon as you get there everything is an upgrade cost or trying to sell something. Good luck getting a working elevator. They had great live music on the large patio but you couldn't sit out there because it was the smoking area! Hard to be romantic and enjoyable in a cloud of smoke. Most of the food is good but good luck booking your ala carte, Brittany at Don Pablo's is awesome and ask for her. Jasmin has a great buffet. The female bar staff at the pool are miserable and never smile and you'd think would be appreciative after COVID. The entertainment staff are great but DJ's need to change up music and watch volumes at times. I wouldn't return to this venue and question any other Bahia! Heard the Hyatt group bought this chain and hope the dump a ton of money into it. There are many more negatives about this facility like the roof leaking by the check-in desk! If any executive managers read this time to do an undercover boss, if you rate this facility high your lieing to yourself or you don't care! Contact me if you want more details.

Beautiful property, great food and drinks, but a terrible beach area
We stayed in the Adults only - the grounds were lovely; entertainment was loads of fun; lobby bar had really good drinks and the food overall was enjoyable. The beach was disappointing. It was at least a 10 min walk from the Luxury side and another 5 min walk if you wanted the beach bar - never made it there... It was narrow, the water was not clear and lots of pharmacists selling you BOB MARLEY in a very small space. The Beach is also a shared space with the Grand side. The adults only beach was man made, maybe knee deep and surrounded by rocks. If you're going with a group and don't care about the beach, I would suggest this resort. It's big, but not as big as the other Bahia's, you can get around without a golf cart and kept busy with the activities throughout the day.

Bahia Luxury in running bay not Worth the money over price for a dated room & broken bathroom
Unfortunately rooms not up to standard, had to change rooms 2x was going to change for the 3rd but decided not to as the rooms got worse in conditioner, water running in to bedroom from the shower & AC which had to be fix in the 2nd change of room management did not reach out to apologise , also restaurant along work for older people in the group, but we did tick the box on the form regarding people with special needs which was ignored, the * manager was a waste of space did nothing o help but happy to take our money reception very helpful in taking our on the da6 we left as no manager around to help

Bang average
Booking reservations are a nightmare and the quality of drinks are poor unless you pay extra buffet is quite repetitive staff are very friendly and are a credit to the hotel the beach is too rocky obviously that’s. O fault of the hotel I guess it is what it is mainly for me was booking restaurants was a nightmare unless you wanted to eat at 9pm and the quality of drinks very poor indeed it’s definitely not luxury I would have rather paid a bit more for the premium which isn’t on offer unfortunately would I stay here again probably not
