Jan 14, 2025It is nice but everything is in slow-motion
The resort is very nice and very big, that means a lot of walking and stairs to go through if you have mobility issues then that would be a challenge. there are smokers everywhere even though smoking is only allowed in designated area and you can smell what is being smoked from miles away ( it is very easy to obtain too just ask the extra friendly staff and they will get you a bush, one thing you should know there are no rolling paper so if you are in to that you should definitely bring your own or you would be smoking the KFC fries bags! no joke.) the staff are nice but on very slow-motion and try to avoid doing things as much as they can and if you get frustrated with the slow speed of progress they keep repeating " it is Jamaican time " which is ok if you are from there but if you are there for only few days every day things are not done is one less enjoyable vacation day for you. we had an issue with one of the rooms and after going to front desk from 8am we were promised the issue would be fixed by the supervisor at 4:30 pm only to find out that his shift was done at 4 and he was basically passing us to deal with the next shift starting so he doesn't have to deal with it and that was very disappointing giving the hotel is claiming to be a luxury hotel. the food and drinks were good and widely available only there were some lineups at the main buffet in the pastry section since the person making chirus was very flirtatious with guests so he kept chatting with all the girls therefore slowing down the movement of the line, if it wasn't for my kids I would have skipped it. there was a boat that had serves lobster by the beach but you have to swim to it, it was ok for the experience but nothing special, it is not part of the hotel so you have to pay for that and it is priced for tourists.

We came for 11 days on our honeymoon and had THE best time. The staff are the most attentive, beautiful and vibrant souls I have ever experienced. The room service was included which I found incredible. Our room was clean and spacious The food was delightful and so much choice, I am sad I'll have to go back to cooking tomorrow, I have never seen such a wonderful buffet before and the a la cate restaurants were fab too - we particularly enjoyed the Rodezio! The staff which really stood out to me were the beautiful man in the towel hut in the lux side, he gave a friendly welcome every morning and has just the most wonderful smile Also all of the entertainment team on the lux side, every day bringing the vibes and fun. Andre took us on a fab bike ride, Crazy legs and the other boys entertained us with the best dancing ever and the girls were just amazing. They work such long hours yet are a vibe day in and day out. You all made our honeymoon so amazing. Thank you for making our honeymoon so special, I left a piece of my heart in Jamacia and will be back to claim it hopefully soon

A little disappointed - The staff are great, but the hotel definately needs upgrading. The room, bathrooms and amenities are old - needs some renovation soon! If you're looking for a place to rest your head for a night or two, then sure-- if you're looking to enjoy a FULL-ON All-Inclusive with great food, modern amenities, nightly entertainment, then I would recommend this hotel

Awful. Don’t go. Rooms are outdated, smell. Food is not good. Food in the Jazmin seems like it has been sitting for hours. Pools are beautiful, and pool bar is great. But you can find those anywhere. Customer service was bad. Have tried getting a hold of someone to discuss my concerns and there is no way to do that.
