Amazing experience in Mexico!
What an amazing vacation!! I couldn’t recommend Bahia Principe Grand Tulum more! A huge thank you to all the staff, it was the best service I’ve ever received at a hotel. I was so very happy with my stay, and look forward to my return visit. Thank you to all the Bahia staff!

Beautiful hotel with good customer service. Good for families or even just adults.
This hotel is very organized, and most of the staff was really lovely. We were upgraded to a suite upon arrival which we thought was very nice of them. Our room was on the third floor(be aware there are no elevators) and had a view of the pool and ocean. The room had a mini fridge that was re-stocked every day with whatever was consumed the previous day. We only had a 3-day stay so we were given one restaurant reservation which we didn't mind since the buffet had plenty of food choices. The food was okay, we had dinner at the Tequila restaurant which we really enjoyed, the tacos were delicious. We spent a lot of time at the pool and had some food from the food truck restaurant which again was okay. We had an excursion that took us out of the hotel in boogies which we enjoyed! The only true real complaint we had was that we booked a round trip transfer from the airport to the hotel and they did not show up for the pick up at the airport. We waited with our 3-year-old after traveling for 7+ hours for over an hour and after attempting to contact them we did not get a response until we had paid a taxi to take us to the hotel. They should really give people a reliable way to contact them if something like this occurs. So if you're planning on booking a transfer please make sure you confirm with them prior to arriving. We would stay here again!

Just OK for an all-inclusive
We were there for a week Monday through Monday late March, 2023. We stayed in a junior suite. The rooms were outdated, but the bed was comfortable enough. The problem was that the air conditioner never seem to cool the room. You would walk in and maybe think the room was cooler, but in the middle of the night, you were just laying there sweating. thank God I had taken a travel fan to plug-in. It was uncomfortably humid in the room. With this resort, you only get three à la carte dinners for a week stay. We had to go and beg to get some better times than what they were giving us. One of the restaurants we wanted to try was the Brazilian restaurant and we did finally get a reservation there for the last night. Thankfully. But you shouldn’t have to do that when you’re asking the next morning for reservations. Our flights were delayed, so we did not get in until 7:30 PM that night so we didn’t bother with trying to get restaurant reservations at that moment. The buffet food was just OK. It was always the same, and would run out of popular items like guacamole, and pico de gallo very quickly. The workers were all very friendly. High marks go to all of the entertainment staff. They would approach you and chat and offer you to come join in the games. The shows that we saw work good, but short. All that one was free. We went to the casino over at the Hacienda a couple times. It also had no air conditioning. They say it was broken, but to be honest, I’m not sure if they even have air! And Tulum is a good hour and a half to 2 Hours Dr. from Cancun airport. Just know this before you book and expect to get to your hotel in any fast manner. We went through Apple vacations we might go back to Tulum, but we would not go back to this resort because of the limited number of dinners, and the difficulty booking them , and also you could not get any top shelf liquor. Anything namebrand was off-limits. You could buy a bottle, but you could not pay up for a drink. and even day bottom shelf, liquors were used sparingly. If you got any of the fruity drinks, it was pretty much all sugar and very little alcohol.

Pretty run down
Checkin was awful, took almost an hour. Room was still dirty, shower and tub were still dirty. Called front desk, nobody came. Air conditioning in our groups rooms never worked. Children splashing in adult pools when they had a beautiful kids area to play. 13 and 14 year olds drunk at swim up bar, unable to make reservations at restaurants so we were stick with buffets all week. The best part was gorgeous weather. Most definitely will not go back
