Beautiful facility. The most impressive part was the level of service we got on the dinner reservations. The service was just as good as at a place where I've spent $100 a plate. Shout out to Uvi at Tequila and Marco at the Indian restaurant, best in the business. We are going to make coming back a yearly thing after this visit

Rooms are hot and ac units need to be way better! Rooms need a little bit of an upgrade for what we paid compared to other hotels we have stayed in the area! Pools, service and food were Amazing as well as the drink!! Entertainment eas great and loved the trollys that passed by all the time to give you a ride to your destination!

We had our wedding at Bahia Principe Tulum in December 2024, and overall, it was a wonderful experience! While we faced some challenges communicating with the group booking department and the wedding coordinator, the standout of our experience was the wedding photography team. The JJ Studio coordinator, Ivonne, was exceptional. She responded promptly to our inquiries, displayed incredible professionalism, and paid attention to every detail. Ivonne made sure we selected the perfect package to meet our needs and clearly explained all the available options. Our photographer, Joel, went above and beyond to make our day unforgettable. He was not only professional and skilled but also warm, friendly, and full of creative ideas. His guidance during the photoshoots helped us feel at ease, and he captured so many special moments beautifully. We couldn’t be happier with our wedding photos. Thanks to Joel and Ivonne, we now have stunning memories to treasure forever. We highly recommend JJ Studio for anyone planning their special day at Bahia Principe Tulum!

Could be amazing!!!
So my party of 10 arrived late on the 30th Dec, we had all already checked in via the app but this was still a lengthy process. The buffet is risky if you have any form of allergy, not enough serving spoons or labels and I have a fish allergy. When mentioned to the hotel instead of helping me out they just made me sign a waiver in case I had a reaction. Disappointed with the NYE set up, we were led to believe that we must have a table at a hefty price in order to be part of the celebration but on the night it turned out that there was free seating, I did complain and was offered 30% discount. Rooms are basic and our cleaners were hit and miss!! Always plenty of sun beds, the entertainment team are fantastic and fun. As the resort is so large they put on carts to ferry you about and they were very frequent. Drinks are ok, the cocktail bar in the lobby bar is by far the best drinks, Rony the mixologist is great, lovely drinks and so friendly. What is very frustrating is that the bartenders at the main pool bar pick and choose what drinks they want to make, I really liked the banana mummas but sometime they would make them and sometimes they refused. We had 4 rooms between us and 3 aircon units in the rooms worked well but my friends did not work, they complained several times including to the TUI rep, they came to fix it twice but it still never worked when complaining on checkout the staff member was rude, he said that nothing had been documented re the complaint therefore he didn’t believe we had complained and wouldn’t discuss any form of compensation for this very unpleasant 11 nights of hot rooms resulting in the door having to be left open causing mosquito bites and of course security risks. This hotel could be amazing just needs some changes!!

New Year’s Eve holiday
I will start with the pro’s as overall we had a great holiday as two families (10 people in total) Pro’s Quality food farm * quality of food * bar & restaurant staff * cleanliness * access to beach * entertainment team made our holiday - amazing group of staff that are a credit to this hotel. * teens club - our 15 year old boys loved having the opportunity to have a break from the sun playing pool games - staff excellent Negatives that let the hotel down * air conditioning did not work after x2 days of our x11 night stay. After raising this almost every day to be only issued with an engineer the day before we left which did not the rectify the issue. This meant sleeping with the door open every night. When we raised this issue for the final time at check out we were told we never raised this and they had no report recorded. I questioned how this was possible as on two separate occasions I had calls to my room by quest services, asking if this had been resolved. I was then asked if I had the workers name (which I did not have) so basically saying I was lying (Humberto was very unhelpful and made me feed that my feedback was not important/relevant. * New Year’s Eve celebration- we were made to feel that the only option to us was to pay for a table which included champagne. This cost almost £300 and when we arrived was literally just in front of loads of chairs where other holiday makers did not pay. Our seats were high up uncomfortable bar stalls with no backs - very hard to sit for an evening of entertainment. New Year’s Eve countdown was also almost 5 mins late which was really random. In my opinion this was a scam as where we were situated most of the entertainment was out of eye shot. Staff were giving out hats, party blowers, not all of us were issued this (literally if you were in the right place at the right time) In my opinion guest services really let this hotel down - if this was improved this hotel I believe would be good value for money x
