The unique city of Yuma, Arizona sits on the Colorado River close to the Californian and Mexican borders. Close to several national wildlife refuges, it is an ideal gateway for exploring the natural beauty and the Sonoran Desert. To the west, the Imperial Sand Dunes is a sand box for off-road enthusiasts. To the east, Kofa National Wildlife Refuge provides a habitat for desert bighorn sheep and other wildlife and plants.
